Depending on the size tire you will be running you can just put the narrow body BS wheel on. Ron has pics of his car somewhere in this thread of his SS w the narrow body wheel on it. Looks good.
I put the win-lites “narrow body” on my SS and they rubbed!

And this doesn't have the Demon suspension pieces?
Super Stocks do not have Demon suspension. They have Hellcat Springs and sway bars but they do use a shock control strategy similar to the Demon.

Using MT ETStreet R as an example, the 305/45 will fit nicely w no rubbing. The 315/50 has too much bulge and will rub. No new news here.
Also, the 315 is really better suited to an 11" wide rim. It's a big tire.

You home yet Ron?

I think you mentioned it before when you first got it.
But I wouldn't be able to tell by that pic.

Curious to what it would look like with the Demon springs installed

12 Days
5441 miles
93Hrs, 49 Minutes drive time.
$1407 Fuel
457 Gallons
$300 hotel (3 nights)
11.89 OA mileage
Truck set a P0299 code just west of Phoenix AZ on the way home. I reset it, and so far it did not come back. Fluke, or a bad TurboCharger? It drives fine with plenty of Power.

Got the Grip Tape on the ramp that someone linked on Amazon (thank you). So, hopefully no more damaged Flares. Also helps line up the car before sending it.

Thank you.

I thought about ordering a new one to fine tune some things that I did not know. I like to learn and I am constantly trying to get things dialed in. But, I have so much work in this thing I think I will just stick with it.

Zero rubbing! Just in time for first track day with SS. I will swap out during day to stocks to gauge times.

I'd say the truck is broken in now since those miles are with a trailer in tow.

Hi Ron.
I missed you at the last MSHS race I was unable to attend due to I am healing from Covid, But Kate told me to tell you Hi and she wished you had stopped worrying about the Index race!
Haha She loves Index racing!
Maybe I will see you at another MSHS race in the Fall. I am hopeful to be healed by then!
Glad you won the other race!:)
Linda

Yes the Truck is doing really well. It gets good mileage when towing and does really well on the DEF consumption. My last Truck had 37,000 miles when I sold it and it literally was running better every time I towed with it. A little known fact. Cummins recommends that you tow something substantial within the first 6000 miles to assure proper break in.

I have the worst luck. This Truck is amazing in almost every way. But there always has to be something. Just that ONE thing. The last truck was the incessant transmission hunting while in cruise control drove me crazy and is one of the reasons I sold it.

The dealer is on it, and it better get fixed. Or else…………….

Hi Linda. Kate beat me fair and square. I am glad I paired up with her because it gave me a chance to talk to her more and get to know her better. She did tell me about your status and I am glad you are taking care of yourself. Maybe I will see you in October in TX. Going to the NE in the Fall is on my bucket list but probably will have to wait till next year since I just did the Rock.

They are somewhere in between. This setup is 60 pounds heavier than the Win Lites and Hoosiers. For instance the stock wheel and tire is 58 pounds and on the front this setup is 45.2 pounds and the rear is 52.8 pounds. More info at the beginning of this thread on what the front is. 18X5 Forgestar F14 and Sportsman SR front skinny. Rear is a Stock Demon Wheel with a Hoosier Drag Bracket Radial 29.5/11.5R18.

THIS PIC I JUST TOOK FOR YOU
.
Gunmetal gray with Hellraisin looks perfect! Would love to see a side by side pic of the SS granite wheels next to the gunmetal. Looks like gunmetal is a lighter shade but can't tell how much. Was it expensive to have the demon wheels powder coated? I will more than likely find a set on ebay and have them done as close to granite as I can get.

Ron, Did you put Demon springs in your SS. My SS feels soft already in rear, on launch. Nose comes up hard as well.. much softer then my 19 HC W/B did.. I definitely thought they were different..So how much softer are Demon springs?

The Back Demon wheels I had Powdercoated turned out a little light in my poinion (compared to the Forgestars I was trying to match to). I think I paid $120 each. It was more because of the color, she told me. All the satin black wheels I did were $75 each. Here is a pic with the Forgestars on the front and the OEM wheels on the back.
