So the new Ram is a Win Win Win. It does not hunt at all in the hills. It will stay in 6th on cruise control in rolling hills and even some some pretty steep grades will not cause a downshift. Sleeping in the back is WAY more comfy. The Rear Air Suspension is now a "must have" for me. Some of the best $1700 I have ever spent. It is also getting at least as good if not better mileage than my 18 Ram HO I just sold. And, the truck is not even broken in yet. So it's only going to get better from here.

I am between Memphis and Nashville tonight. This thing eats miles.

So the biggest revelation so far this trip???? The Truck automatically senses when you travel into a different time Zone and updates the clock. How?

Make sure you keep a full tank of diesel! Your in the pipeline hack area!

It's using about the same as the last Truck. It has to be below 1/2 tank before it will take a full 2.5 gallon container. I buy them from Walmart, now $6.98. I brought 8 containers with me. The truck had 800 miles on it when I left. I had added one container before I left and one on the way out and one more this morning. I am exactly 2599 miles from Pasadena CA, where I live. It's not that scientific, but I think I have to add one container about every 4th full tank of Diesel while towing. Unloaded it is about 1/8th that much.

I am in Petersburg VA waiting on the "Take it off the Streets" night tomorrow night at Virginia Motorsports Park. Then I head south to the rock.

Hope you don't have problems getting fuel on the eastern part of the country with this pipeline fiasco..

Glad you're having a good trip so far Ron. I hope you have a lot of run running at the different tracks over the next few days.
We decided to stay home. The car is acting up a bit right now and until I get that dealt with I can't see towing ~20 hrs round trip. Plus, the whole "no fuel" thing just doesn't excite me too much.

Car ran 10.02 this morning first pass. Then did back to back 10.12's with the 2-3 hiccup. I am surprised it hiccupped with the heavy wheel & tire setup.
