No you could not make adjustments.
But you would have enough info to see if something goes wrong slowly.
Or if you are seeing knock to suggest the fuel you have that day may not be as good as you thought.
My car showed it was going into cat overtemp from the info.
Injector duty cycle going crazy high which made my fuel pump DC go high and the timing would go up to burn all the extra fuel.
AFR would go 10.8 or lower.
Any info is good to have imo.

I like have as much data as possible. I have thousands of logs and some times I use them to compare to . Even if you can't adjust anything it will at the very least let you know what's going on .

I tested 3 different intakes with 4 passes each . I tried to give equal cool downs/ hot laps and with out a doubt the LMI netted me my best MPH and ET . The JLT was pretty close and the stock one was definitely behind . I'm going to over all my logs tomorrow and the next few days . It's was also hot and humid here today ( 88-96F) all day with Crappy DA ( 2500-3300 ) . The results I got are for MY CAR today . It is not written in stone for everyone . Results will very .


Stock
Best pass 10.1@ 137
Worst pass 10.4@ 135 (hot lap with tire spin)
2 other passes 10.3X@ 136

JLT
Best pass 10.0@141.7 (tire spin)
Worst pass 10.4@ 137 (hot lap with tire spin)
2 other passes 10.1X@ 139

LMI
Best pass 9.82@142.5
Worst pass 10.3@137 (2nd hot lap right after stock box test and tire spin)
2 other pass 9.9X@140

I then left the LMI on for the rest of the day . And got more 9.8X@ 140+ mph .

I got 15 passes total today
I was going through your thread where these were posted and saw some slips from the LMI intake but not from the others. Just curious if the 60 ft's were all close? If there was any tire spin I think it would throw the test off

Yes I have all the time slips . I will check and confirm the 60's . They were al fairly close I think . That's why I said the ET's shouldn't be counted as gospel. The MPH is the real story .
I can assure you there was no " funny business " I have nothing to gain or lose . It was a demon event and I gave it everything she had to compete with the demons. There was many witnesses that helped me .

Nope wasn't saying that you are. Just seeing "tire spin" on there can even make the mph higher, I have done it. We are all looking at what can make us faster and sometimes it is different car to car. I will say I was hoping the JLT would not be faster since I like my stock airbox but for instance if I went into the 50's it would be on my car:)

How about K & N ????
Stock air filter flows better then a K&N. More surface area

I tested a K&N drop in

I dont trust my memory exactly but from memory I lost 8hp but gained 28lbft

I don't like they used a metal cap either

Inlet is 6" ,cap is almost 5.5", length 7 3/4", filter at widest is just under 7.5"

Let me know what you find
Anderson Ford Motorsports has some nice filters. I looked and they have a 10" long and 6" long no 8"

Green filters has a bunch of sizes. Here is one but probably others that are better. I just need to search through them.

I already looked through Green I don't like the solid cap. 2382 is close
