Are we feeling the mental crunch yet?? Had to get up to eat dimmer and wanted to sea if you found your FOB yet?? These batteries and charging systems are weird. In the trunk,, ok the system is dead. How do you open the trunk to get to the battery?? I could not open mine and had no access to do so.

When you try to start do you get the fuel.pump pre-pressuriazation and the other associated noises pre-start?

Yes hear basic noises from the rear that I think are from the pump

As I recall, you pull the backrest, then use the emergency release in the trunk.

I bet it's the battery, from sitting too long, it still has enough juice for small things but not to start.

Yeah, most likely it's the battery, but one week isn't exactly a long time for a good battery to sit. If that was the case I would have very few batteries left in working order.

Sounds like it died a somewhat premature death, for whatever reason.

That is the only way to get to the battery. Thru the back seat and trunk/ If you know your way around the engine compartment, you can jump it. But can burn up components doing so. Why not access to the damn battery?? 2 year battery last for 2 years. I have gone thru 3. Dick Trickle charger.

the car's electrical system is a primadonna compared to old ones. Jump start with a caged hampster on a wheel, a kite and thunderstorm, etc...

I just call Thomas Eddision from Ft Myers come up and have aa beer. Crap to maintain. Ha, dealership says not to go over a week without starting. Nissan can sit for 3 months, no problems.
