They're all poorly raised and remind me of petroleum: crude and unrefined.

So with all the great advice fun jabs and car talk it WAS the battery
I am throwing out my old school methods and thinking
Despite the ignition working strong power to items such as radio lights etc, a try at a jump start along the way load test at autotive shop showed bad battery
We are now driving our hellcat once again!!!

If these cars ever do ANYTHING crazy, it's almost always low voltage and/or cranking amps on the battery.

They are super sensitive to the battery's condition.

The line of those who wish to say "I told you so" starts to the left.
And the other two should follow Palwithau's lead and throw out their old school methods and thinking.

My winter beater, an ‘05 Trailblazer, was experiencing all kinds of electrical gremlins. From the rear wiper going on by itself for no reason to dash warning lights staying on for a couple minutes and clock not keeping time. I figured bad ground(s) or mice chewed wiring. A new battery fixed it all and there’s nothing sophisticated about that vehicle’s electronics.

Just changing a battery pisses off the computer for a short time. When I changed mine ( nothing wrong with it but it was 4 yrs old ) the power windows didn't work correctly and a few other glitches appeared. All problems went away in about 10 minutes of driving. Same thing happened to a couple of friends of mine on their Cats.

When the day comes, I'll hook up a battery to the posts under the hood, then replace the battery.
The 'Cat's brain will never realize what happened.

Didn’t you know @Jimmy N. that a cats battery has 9 lives, just like the Eveready batteries with the black cat on them. I would say I used 5 out 9 on mine already being 3 years old. Now I don’t feel so bad, because my thoughts were battery, mice chewing wires like @jroyk stated, even thought about possible pin connection/corrosion inside bulkhead- molex connector. But decided to not cause hysteria and get OP worked up. Best to always go back to the basics, & work out from there.

Agree! These things are a bit particular about the battery and what is happening back there. Recently I have needed to connect/reconnect because of trickle charger problems with a little aftermarket controller board which shall stay anonymous for now (after we know something worth it, I’ll share). I agree, I went in once and the fan only had low and high and no speeds the options were so limited for a while. But, true it does clear up with time.

Quick moral, little trickle chargers like we use on our motorcycles, may not be so good attached for several months. It may be better to just put a big charger on these cars every month and charge it up quick.

I have had a trickle charger on mine for 4 years without a problem.
