Something that happened here during the rona
House prices skyrocketed
People were scooping houses up like crazy
Selling agents started playing games
List a house low. Real low
Attract a dozen buyers & many times more
Closed biding would happen with a date
So you submit your bid & once all the offers are in
Agent presents offers to seller
Seller had the right to refuse any / all offers
9 times out of 10 seller gets 20 percent more then they wanted
2 years of this shit

I went thru it with my daughter & my son for their houses
Everyone was overpaying
All legal

Not the same old type auction where Hickster gets up on stage & yodles out numbers & you wiggle you fingers

Being an original Demon owner, I received two SRT Demon Owner VIP package invites from Dodge. I called a buddy of mine, who has a hellcat, and talked him into going to this once in a lifetime event. We flew out from Boston on Saturday and went to the track before it opened on Monday. The VIP treatment turned out to be a free general admission ticket, value $25 dollars and a $25 dollar gift card for drinks and lunch. We ordered a burger with fries and a drink which came to $28. I was so embarrassed I told my buddy I would cover his cost of this VIP trip. $1500.00 I spoke to several other Demon owners who couldn't believe that Dodge considered This VIP treatment. We thought that maybe Dodge was going to award the Original Owners who came to the event a coupon which would allow us to purchase a Demon 170 at MSRP from a dealer of our choice without effecting their allocation. Well that didn't happen. When we got home I tried to find a car by calling over 100 different dealers, the lowest price I could find was $100,000.00 over sticker. Dodge still has time to do the right thing as far as the original owners are concerned because the order window doesn't open until 3/27/23 but I not going to hold my breath.

So are you saying if all 3300 demon owners want the 170 no one else should get one or have a chance at one?

Seems a lot of dealers now aren't taking a final number to get the car, they are taking bids. Hell one called me and was like for their 2 cars, current offers are at $200k for both. I have dozens more just like this today

I had a dealer call me this afternoon and said they were taking bids on their only allocation. It’s a small town in FL. The high bid earlier this afternoon was $200k ADM. I wished them luck.

When they do these ADM arrangements, are they generally legally binding? Are they forcing you to put that down as a non-refundable deposit? I thought in most cases, those had to be refunded if you didn’t accept order. Though, I’m sure each state has different rules.
What I’m wondering, how many people drunk on “alcohol” are throwing these bids on ADM to get an allocation, but sober up over the next 9 months, and back out, provided there’s no to minimal $ loss to them?

No I was saying that original owners who still have their cars after 5 years. I doubt that equates to more than 25% of the total.

I never had any intent of buying it. I'm not happy at what is happening for the fact it isn't right and I feel for the guys that are dealing with it
