Any opinions on this? Apparently Plug and Play Kill Switch(es). $99 doesn't seem bad...though I'm sure you could piece it together yourself for cheaper. At $99, probably not worth my time to try do so anyway. My worries about a kill switch is hacking into a harness or running a shit load of wire through the car, or a fuse / bad connection going and bricking the car. I have another deterrent for my manual which inhibits being started...though this might be a 2nd deterrent if you make it through the 1st in short order. I tend to be more function over form, so I look at a kill switch (in some cases) more likely to fail on me versus my car getting targeted and successfully stolen.

Not really "ultimate".

If they've cloned your FOBIK, they don't need the button. They just transmit a start command, from their clone device.

IMNSHO, there are better ways. RF Hub lockout. FP lockout.

Hit up @Green717. We worked out a circuit and he installed that unique security solution. All DIY and not $100.

The residue is fun. I have tried everything and Goo Gone seems to work the best
Try WD40, soak a small piece of paper towel (the size of the adhesive wanted removed) with it, let it soak 5-10 minutes, rub off with same piece of paper towel.

The goo gone works pretty good. I bought a new bottle not long ago

And bigger fuel pumps to help feed it

Hello Diboblo,

Although the FOBIK can be cloned, the remote start does not unlock the ability for the brake pedal to disengage the BTSI solenoid. Therefore, while the car will run, it cannot go into drive.

I'm curious, what is an FP lockout?

Unloaded the car today and cleaned it and washed the wheels and removed the decals from the NMCA race

Yesterday when I was changing the wheels out, my zl1 jacking pad on the driver side looked like it was going to fall off and it didn't take much to get it off. The other side the same. They have been on for 2 years and have been used a lot. I didn't lock tight the screws and maybe should have. So I did that today and put them back on

I highly recommend getting some for the front of our cars. There are different choices out there and they sell magnetic ones also. Makes jacking up the front of the car much easier. We have them for the rear from the factory

I was gonna buy the ZL1 red ones that don’t stay on the car. Is there any difference? Other than some people forget and leave them on. They’re magnetized. But they also have that little red flag as a reminder lol

The magnetic probably work fine. I like them always being on all the time and use them a lot. Either way it make jacking the car up easier then lining the jack up way under the car on the frame

I don't use jackstands. Bought some and returned them. Not rolling on the floor anymore.
Sorry for all the questions but I have a ‘22 Hellcat WB Challenger. What floor jack would you guys recommend? Low profile? I was thinking of buying one from Harbor Freight.

I have the Daytona jack from them. Don't buy the miniature race jack, mine collapsed and rolled over on me.

Quickjack is where it’s at if you work on your cars often and don’t have the space for a lift! Eliminates your jackstand problem!

Damn dude. Rolled over on you? Stay safe man.

And thanks for the information. I was thinking of buying the Daytona.

@AeroF16
Those Quickjacks are nice but a little expensive for me now. Especially with the stock markets down in the red most of this year.

Yeah they’ve gotten even more expensive since I bought mine a few years ago.

Keep an eye out, they go on sale a few times a year. I think Quickjack has it one their website on sale sometimes but you can buy them from Home Depot/Costco type stores. I found mine for a really good deal on Black Friday through HD.
