UPDATE! "Water Spots" - What is the best way to remove that is not abrasive?

My dad has well water and I had a black truck years ago that would get water spots from the sprinklers. I tried different things to get them out little did it help. There was one thing that worked very well.....rain! If we had a good rain they would disappear

UPDATE:

As I mentioned in the What Did You Do With Your Hellcat Today thread, I finally got the spots out.
Maguires iron remover, Chem Guys Water Spot Remover, clay bar.

I did not use the clay on the glass so there is still some spots visible. Next wash I'll clay the glass.

A lot of effort but it worked without buffing. Very happy!

Fwiw, a friend of mine is a professional detailer. He recommends a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar to remove water spots. Obviously clean the area first, wipe with solution until spots are gone, then a fresh coating of sealant. I've used this technique a couple times with great results, the water spots come off pretty easy too.
