Not as effective as the blanket and spacer kit for sure, but for someone who can't do that kit because of my shock tower brace, that looks like a good option. I also like the fact that those gaskets would eliminate the o ring fail potential that we sometimes hear about. We will have to keep and eye on those. They claim:

Fits all vehicles with a Dodge/Chrysler 6.L Hellcat. Applications include:
  • 2015–present Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
  • 2015–present Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
  • 2018–present Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk
  • 2018-present Hellcat Crate Engine

About Thermalnator Heat Shield Gaskets
Thermalnator is a unique high temperature shielding gasket which replaces the stock intake manifold gasket. Thermalnator’s cooling properties reduce heat by stopping metal to metal contact between the intake manifold and the engine block. By using a Thermalnator gasket, you will reduce the heat of the air entering your engine, making up to 5% more power.
Thermalnator gaskets allow the intake manifold to perform like an intercooler. Because the manifold is no longer heated by the cylinder head, the heat from incoming air can dissipate through the aluminum very rapidly. The basic formula for this is for every 5 degrees F increase in intake air temp, air density is reduced by 1%. The denser the air is, the better the gain in horsepower.
Average testing has shown an 25 degrees F drop and up to 35 degrees in some applications. This is why a Thermalnator gasket is an excellent upgrade for your vehicle if it’s stock or modified.

Thanks Bob.

I think I would do the thermal blanket and these gaskets, if I were to go this route.

At least it presents an option, for those with possible clearance issues. They say this gasket is 1/8" thick... so slightly more than OEM.

Lastly, no need for longer SC studs.

Imma keep an eye on this product.

Wait, if I use BOTH these and the FI spacers, do I multiple the 5% power increase for each of them and end up with a 25% power increase??

:p

Funny thing is that someone offered phenolic spacers, for the 6.1 engines, years ago. You had to sandwich them between two intake gaskets, each... because they didn't use o-rings.

Those cheapo oil galley openings would fail, after a year, or so, and you'd have to pony up for new gaskets. Ugh... at a time when there were no aftermarket intake gaskets.

They came off after I did that trick... once.

Still have them in my toolbox, though.

Are you being sarcastic here Bull? Lol

i had the same idea of using this, blower spacers and heat blanket.
Im getting ready to begin the install of my FI spacers and blanket this Sunday.

if using both is an option, I might add these as well.

So you can't run the spacers and shock brace together?

I'm sure using both would create more of a thermal break and either by itself, however something about it just doesn't sit well with me. I would not recommend it. And yes, I was being sarcastic about the multiplicative percentages.

So you can't run the spacers and shock brace together?

My understanding is that you can NOT use the FI spacers (10mm / 3/8" thick) AND have a typical tower brace. But I do not know this first hand, I believe it was @Old Mopar Guy that stated he didn't think there was room based on his installation??

Yo Bob,
Sent my info to the dudes concerning the gaskets. Will it fit a 2018 stock Hell Cat?? Did not see it on the list. If this is true,, what a savings for $38 plus labor. Better than the inter cooler I invented. Not to take credit fer it,, but??

Thanks Bob. Will it have an effect on the warranty situation?? Does not improve performance,, so I would think, but the factory might find another sanareoo. If not from you, I can ask the dealer down the street. I did ask on their comment page.

The thicker FI plates wont work, it seems, with the PG brace. These don't appear as thick, but still may interfere with the brace. Theres not much room at all between the sc and the brace, and the factory black bar above the brace.

Doesn't look like much room at all. Time for a 2x4 cheater bar. Mess up that pretty blue bar.

The Thermalnator gaskets are approximately 1/8" thick... leaving plenty of room :)

I just looked at mine and it has plenty of room. My brace is a Speedlogix. It looks further back than yours and looks to have an inch clearance between the top of the bolt and cross bar. But, it will have to come off to install the spacers.

Where did you get those supercharger to engine bolts?

Those are not the black ones the FI kit comes with !

those blue rocker covers are nice !

Alain, those bolts are factory. The sc has not been off the car. The rail covers I got from one of our members here. Thanks for the kind words.

So you can't run the spacers and shock brace together?
It might depend on what brace ?... but my Speedlogix 4 point strut tower brace fits with FI spacers still with 1/2" gap & even racing it & engine torqueing over it doesn't hit the brace.
