Sweet Baby Jesus the HK sound system blows goats!

Go to old site, see my center stack / terrorist/ subwoofer posts... one of the weaknesses of the car. And disappointing to me bc it's so easy to get right. It's not like car audio was introduced 8 years ago...

Not sure where you keep getting this $3,000 claim as the HK system is a $1,995 "upgrade" It sounds OK but definitely not spectacular.

Saying that, I went with the HK system mostly so all the wiring would be in place and I can just change out the factory speakers as I see fit. I will eventually change out the entire system as far as speakers, subs and amps as I do in all my vehicles.

My 13 Ram regular cab is all JL Audio, 600/1 slash amp, 300/4 slash amp, 4 6x9 C2 speakers and 3.5' C2 dash speakers and custom box with 2 10" W3 subs and it's been in since 2015, I am very happy with this set up.
My Road Glide is 1200/4 Sound Digital amp and 4 6.5" DB Euphoria speakers, sounds good but I need to add some more needs more punch
So I will do the same to the Challenger, eventually!

About how mine it. Didn't like that surround sound or what ever it is and turned that off. Also have treble down

I just spent a while messing with it again and I appreciate the suggestions; I definitely got it to sound better but only at a high volume level. For a dude whose practically deaf I'm picky AF, that's for sure. To say my musical taste is eclectic is an understatement; I was listening to White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane in between Hustlin' by Rick Ross and everyone's favorite Hellcat song, Kick Start My Heart by Motley Crew...!

Just listen to AM talk radio...you wont notice a thing...

I would have to agree with the RAM...have no idea what my 21 limited 1500 came with..but it sounds great...

I think the Charger has an Alpine?
The Challenger is the base system and it will make your ears bleed.

It's mostly for when you're NOT riding My brother builds and competes in bike stereo competitions. He was just in Myrtle Beach when the hurricane hit for a sound competition, road out the hurricane in his enclosed trailer with his bike, so let's just say as far as the bike goes, he's rubbing off.

The Charger never is driven on the street these days so it doesn't matter what it sounds like. Challenger is our event cruiser and it sounds the worst of all. Bummer.

Most of our crew upgrades their sound systems...I drives me nuts when we're riding on twisty country roads and I hear the sounds from a radio ahead of me...I keep thinkin the noise is commin from my bike

Yeah, apparently I was stuck on stupid, not the first time, certainly won't be the last! I got my A8 option mixed up with my HK option and didn't check the sticker until you mentioned it. Still blows goats for $2K though, that part I'm still certain of!

In '12 I did 9K miles in a month on my Victory Vision in a giant rectangle of the country...having music/GPS/BT headset (for phone calls) was a necessity...local rides not so much...
