Figured I’d share this finding. Changing oil today, of course you got to get it up in the air to remove covers etc. just for a check spun the front tires while off the ground. Had a once in a while out of the blue tire Shake and steering wheel wobble that would come and go. Anyone want to take a stab at what it is??

If it's NOT that, you've got serious issues....

No, the damn TPMS sensor came apart. Recent burst to 160+ a couple weeks back most likely did it. Time for new fronts anyways. If I’m going to risk rim damage breaking the tire down to change it mine as well start with fresh front skins for the summer. Was a fluke find, thank God I got a bug up my ass today to change the oil. Think a shop changing the oil would have caught this??

But if the TPMS sensor comes apart- does that not indicate a warning light in the dash? You know that goofy picture that tells you a tire air pressure is down?

I would imagine if the stem wasnt actually leaking the sensor could actually still work and send the psi reading. Wild.

Sensor still reading perfectly, their not part of the stem or Schrader valve, their just clipped to it

I think this did It

Didn't the tire pressure screen show a problem?

Nope, still works just fine. Even with lasts nights trip to Mexico.
Funny thing about a loose weight in a spinning mass is it will actually help balance as it will migrate to the light area. It only shakes once in a blue moon usually after cornering when it get jostled from its happy place. I have new tires on order
