My performance mods are in my signature but I will tell you that the car made 870whp SAE with a 2.65 pulley, stock blower, stock throttle body on pump E85 fuel. I changed the pulley to a 2.85, and added the Jokerz race ported blower package which includes ported snout and bearing plate. I also added a BBK 100mm throttle body and tested on E85 fuel again, no additional adjustment to the tune before you ask.

What are the results? Let's make this fun, take a guess what the WHP numbers are. Stay tuned, I will post the results in about 3 hours with dyno graph comparing my previous 870whp numbers. I will give you a teaser...I'm extremely impressed!

Keep in mind, I went from a 2.65 pulley to a 2.85 pulley so the boost is going down by 2-3psi.

I would but I'm at work and I can't download the graph that they sent me from the shop. As soon as I get home in about 2 hours I'll post it.

Jokerz does good port work, no question in my mind.

Just so I am understanding, you swapped to a larger pulley and didn't adjust the tune? That just sounds bad, fuel for the boost of a 2.65 on less boost?

Flex tune, no issues.

I swap between 4 pulleys on the same tune with no issues at all thevfuel adjust for I have the 2.65 with 10percent overdrive and on my race e85 tune I run all of these 3.10,2.85,2.75,2.65

And here's the results...

892whp, 810wtq SAE

…even with a reduction in boost going from a 2.65 pulley to a 2.85 pulley, a gain of 22whp and 14wtq. I'd say the ported blower package is good for about 40+whp on a near stock Cat, and 80+whp on a modified Cat.

I feel confident if I had left the stock 2.65 pulley on the car with the ported blower and larger TB that the car would have made close to 950whp.

So you may ask, why did I do this then?

Let me explain. The car was already making 870whp and traction was VERY difficult on street tires, even with a 335/30 tire on the rear, and I was forced to run E85 all the time if I wanted to hammer the car because a 2.65 pulley is just too aggressive for 93 octane so for the last 2 years I've been running E85 daily and only using 93 octane in a pinch when traveling and I couldn't find E85. No issues with the car doing that, I just hated that when I had 93 in the tank, I couldn't really be too aggressive on the throttle. So I had a thought, maybe I'll get one of those fancy Litens 2.85 clutched pulleys to reduce the boost which would effectively reduce power and I could also start using 93 octane whenever I wanted and still be able to play around some. Then I thought, if the blower has to come off to swap pulleys, the car already has 22k miles on it, why not go ahead and get the blower rebuilt with ceramic bearings, etc...and then I ended up going all in for the Jokerz race ported blower package which includes ported snout and bearing plate. At that point, I thought to really make the ported blower work most effectively, I need a larger TB, the BBK 100M was the cheapest option and I feel like it should be more than enough for this setup.

So, when I had all of this installed, I knew the ported race blower was going to gain SOME power, and I was losing what I thought was going to be significant power...60-80whp from the 2.85 pulley and yet I ended up with MORE power. WTF?

Its almost comical and it defeats one of my goals which was to reduce the power of the car for street tires however at least it's making almost 900whp now on E85 when I want to run it and I can still drive it on 93 octane too whenever I choose and still be safe hammering it. Another benefit is that with the 2.85 pulley, I'm not spinning the blower nearly as hard as the 2.65 pulley so it should last longer and run cooler too. Win-Win I suppose.

What can the rest of you learn from this? I hope you've learned that Jokerz does top notch port work and if you're looking for a significant power increase, his ported blower package will certainly deliver. The HP gain isn't as cheap as swapping to a smaller pulley, but you're also not stressing the supercharger as much as going to a smaller pulley either.

I was close but no cigar 😳
