As much as I would like to spill the beans, I’ll have to let James share his news. I’ll just say this.... when you get up and check the weather at 5:30 am and it’s 91 degrees...... you know it’s less than perfect for doing this. But it’s Phoenix in July. Dyno room was 110*, the DA was 4200’ and Maggie was singing like a fat lady. 😂.

Thanks Marc! Lmao😂
Update will be posted soon. Going home today with the car.
Great results and zero belt slippage.
Will post everything up tonight or first thing in the morning.

Alright let’s start out with the weather. It was awful lol. Now the temp says 99 outside but in the shop on the dyno was 110 degrees. I swear that’s my lucky number. Last year same time with stock blower it was 110 degrees.🙄😂😬
15B9EBE5-5B1B-46CF-BEC2-1CBC164D48EF.png

Now on to the good stuff.
We hit 1075rwhp and 1010 torque at 6200rpm. After the 3rd big boy pull Tim Barth says not enough spark going on in side. It’s like trying to make power and some one is blowing out our spark.
Max psi was at 21.4 and IAT’s in the first 2 pulls hit 109 and the last 2 pulls hit 129.
So after all Bigjonracing dual idler pulley set up worked out and did the job. Zero belt slippage and mission accomplished. Now I will be back at SRT AutoWorks when it cools down to check out the spark plugs and some tuning adjustments.
Next dyno just for fun will hit 1125 and 1050 torque give or take and then hopefully some dam seat time at the track. In California everything is shut down. It’s just to dam hot anyways. 122 degrees last Sunday 🥵🥵🥵.

Thanks. Had to have a lot of patience this time around. We’re about 95% done with the car. Hopefully get it just right in the fall and then it’s go time.👍🏎
Stupid Covid-19 put everything on back order.

Hey James.... moving videos from YouTube to here is easy but I can’t get them off Instagram. It would be nice if this forum would support videos but... ☹
Congrats on success with this. The Maggie is a great little supercharger and you just proved that it’s as capable as they come. The only caveat being that for over about 800 hp, it needs that $700 idler setup to make the boost needed without belt slip. That bigjonracing idler is rock solid.
One of the things that those interested here need to know is, besides the heat and high DA.... yours is not being run as a full race motor to get big numbers.
This was done on e85 and not the e90 Ignite race fuel. Your car is being built as a pump e85 street car and not a 1/4 mile record setter like mine.
Tim will not throw the kind of aggressive timing at yours like if you were running the race fuel. Tim said to call it a day because the “900whp” plugs you have in there weren’t doing their job past 6200 rpm.
I have no doubt that come late November when the morning temps are in the 60’s and you return to the dyno with the proper plugs (read expensive into that) and maybe that 3.0 Griptec pulley, you’ll see 1150whp. Who knows... maybe more. Load it up with some Ignite Red and let Tim throw 23degrees at it and I’ll bet..... 1200. 🤨

Pretty sure you’ve seen the videos on FB. I personally think that this is the choice for a new aftermarket blower right now. Especially for a 6.2 displacement motor. It’s a small SC by comparison and is just super efficient compared to the 4+ liter units. The new 3.8 Whipple may change that when it comes out but that is still in the future. Two things..... these run so cool that it’s just wtf. After a full pull the supercharger is just warm to the touch. That’s far from the case with all the others. The other thing is the sound. The open cog drive gives it that supercharger whistle that is so recognizable as a blower even when it’s idling. Makes my Whipple sound like a garbage disposal full of bolts. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. 😂

Thanks everyone for the kind reply’s. Now gotta clean the car up & put the 17’s back on and enjoy the car for now. Not gonna max it out yet on the back streets with some strong pulls. Tune is not dialed in yet 100% on the drive ability. I was lucky enough to get this appointment with Tommy and Tim. This was another clients appointment but his fuel system didn’t show up so i grabbed it,

Speedy!

Does anyone know the part number through Dodge for the Super Charger coolant?
or have any recommendations on something that might be better than the Mopar factory coolant? Thanks

It's the same as the antifreeze for the radiator. Part # 68163848AB

It’s just the same purple coolant going thru the radiator. You could use any quality antifreeze and pick your color to suit. 😂 We don’t have any freezing conditions to worry about so providing some corrosion protection is all you’re looking at and I wouldn’t bother doing the full 50/50. Thing is..... when you use the ice box and do the ice-drain-repeat deal at the track or dyno, you dump the antifreeze and end up with nothing but water in there. Doesn’t hurt anything. Just dump a few chugs of colored stuff in there when you get a chance and don’t be anal about it.
