See the thing is, I don't want to say ANYTHING, either positive or negative, or even neutral... Karma has a way of coming back to those that say stuff, and I don't want any of that shit anywhere near me.

SO.... here's the deal. I went over the door with a fine toothed comb today. No waves, no ripples, but there is a scuff about a half inch long. I didn't even try and photograph it. It looks like just a little dirt/smudge on the door, but its not. I'm almost thinking its just in the clear coat. In the grand scheme of things, it is very little damage for the amount of flex and impact - dodging bullets. I'll try and get a shot of it sometime and post it up.



Also, FYI, evidently T-birds are notorious for this massive difference in detents. My locksmith's wife has one and has experienced the same thing. My wife says she's noticed that hefty swing on the way to the second detent too. She also said she was incredibly happy it was me that hit the HC with the door and not her. lol And I mispoke, it is the passengers door. The cars were both backed in.

No sermon, but I would have been disappointed. I'm pretty laid back except for when it comes to avoidable carelessness. Why do you think I'm on here beating myself up for letting that demon possessed door get away from me? lol, once she pulled a solid brick step completely off the house with her expedition. I didn't say a word.

I can see where it's smudged, but there is no little crust or wave of paint, i really do feel it may have only dicked over the clear and a maybe a coat or two of paint, but no way I can afford to get it fixed right now (and I don't trust anyone around here to do it anyway).
