We are discussing what we think about rules and the bottom line a light weigh car has a huge advantage

They put a bunch of storage in it.

actually the Gen 3 stuff isn't slow, they are in a heavy body. My stock hellcat engine with 20 lbs of boost would run 7s in light fox body. I have been 9.1 at 4700 lbs just think at 3000 lbs
No, it is slow, using a BGE block the HP limit is around 1,600 HP. To be competitive is the street car world 2,200+ HP is needed in a lite body. Is anyone getting those numbers with a BGE block?

my street car and yours are way different. My street car is a daily driver not what they make work on drag week

Personally not a carpet fan. Shit gets nasty and will mildew if it gets wet.

The modded Hellcat people seems to struggle with drag and drive unless you have a mild, 93 tune.

That doesn't matter, the BGE block cannot handle 2,200+ HP. Have to go to a billet block and heads, over 40 PSI psi of boost will start to destroy the standard Thiket heads. Billet heads and blocks is needed for 2,200+ HP and usually they are not water cooled and not suitable in a street car, imo

why Im throwing ideas out there so it isn't. Make N/A big tires light weigh and power adders heavier and bigger wheels. I could build a fox body but basically Im building a race car not bringing a daily driver street car to a race

Youtube guys show up everytime and predict huge tines. All kinds of camera people around. They seem to mostly end up on the lift and crawling the last day, if they make it, just to finish.

Sad part is that the events keep tech cards open for these guys and squeeze the rest of us out.

They are driven on the street all the time, just not using Gen 3 hemi motors.

like I said I don't think of a 2200 hp car as a daily driven street car. What one can make a car drive down the street compared to a daily driver you can take a vacation in and and actually enjoy driving it 600 miles are 2 different things
