When I picked up my SS from Koons mother nature decided to downpour the entire way home from VA to NJ. LOTS of fun driving on 95. 45 mph all the way home and white knuckle grip the entire time. I did however still stop in the bank parking lot across the street from the dealership to remove the banana before the drive.

These cars have sat in dirt/gravel yards before getting shipped, many on open haulers and then on the dealership lots. Look at where the 170s are being held.

There's not 1 of these cars that hasn't been, at least, rained on.

Good Idea nixin the banana....and that ride can be challenging even on a nice day in that traffic..(no pun intended)

Agreed..my first Demon was encrusted with salt underneath....but just because they didn't give a fuck...doesn't mean I shouldn't...;)

Absolutely not. Mine hasn't seen inclement weather since it left Brampton. It was delivered in 12/14 to the OO's home in an enclosed trailer. Not going to change now.

My HC was spotless underneath..(summer build)..my Demon looked like it was run @ the salt flats for a month...I spent weeks under that car on the lift...salt was EVERYWHERE...I was not happy...:mad:

I have a very good friend that lives on the east coast of Fla.(Lake Worth)..retired NYS Trooper and former BCI investigator ...we talk every day...I'm amazed there are times he doesn't know...or care what day it is...
