because we were the only one. If everyone would have had 700hp car in 2015 it would have spread out. Dodge has never been the top cool kid when others have something similar. Back in school in the 80s I was the only Mopar fan around.
Same here...but it was 71...back then everybody had a chevy...you could build a good runnin chevy outta the junk yard

Not bad for the price IMO. I think Vortec'd said his Forgestar F14 18x5 with same tire as mine were 35lbs all in per wheel/tire setup. I like the look for the F14s and list is $320 a wheel so pretty good value.

Looks like 5lbs per tire can be saved if going with the Hoosier, but not DOT rated like the M&H. Might get away with it at a street class race but might not.

Back in the day..(high school)...a falcon sprint "260"..Fairlane "390"..Nova "350"..a new z28 (rich kid)..Impala "327"..some other beater chevys..and my 69 "383" RR..when we weren't street racin..we were cruisin the local plaza lookin for chicks...It was a glorious time to be a teenager..life seemed easier..

Ron posted on the other forum, nothing wrong with the car. Seems wheel hop induced some kind of limp condition that required the battery be disconnected to reset. I've asked if he was using the trans brake to launch because it's "supposed" to have anti wheel hop technology in that mode.

I've seen information posted that Gearhead Fabrication had only a trans tune on their car for it to run 8.94. Full interior. However what they say they changed in the trans tune was a 200-300 RPM increase in shift point and adjusted torque management. However, to increase the shift point you also have to change the cut off values in the PCM unless this car is just shifting super early in the trans. Anyone know the story there?

Unlocked pcm. There isn't any other way to do it. Pic says it all

Quick update on our Demon 170 testing… in complete STOCK form, Full Factory Interior with SubWoofer she ran a 9.39 with 87% Ethanol… We then massaged the factory tune a bit and Saw a best of 9.20 with a 1.35 60ft fighting traction issues all night… we will be doing a full report with photos and video and a car walk around tomorrow for everyone

Like I said before, people are just getting these cars and a lot of them are not stock in some form. I would want to run in good DA before I started messing with it

First off....If you raise the shift point they always gain horsepower. Known fact. Secondly.....They admitted to "massaging the factory tune" in their dyno clip. If anyone believes they didn't use their "massged" tune, along with their newly admitted trans shift point adjustment during the track runs; I've got some beach front property for sale in Arizona! Third.....I do believe the ECM had to be cracked as well in order to do either.
