I was there 😎. Ron ran the 8.97 after a 9.0 pass and then backed it up with a 8.96. Absolutely beautiful car. I had a chance to look at everything and confirmed with Ron that it is 100% stock except for the Legions allowed wheels/tires and weight reduction. He told me that he will never do anything to void the warranty. So there you have it. He’s first and I think we can expect these things to go faster than the factory times much sooner than the original took to even break into the nines. Very impressive 🤯

What did it show for E content?

I don’t know anything other than I saw him make the passes and briefly looked at his car and confirmed he was factory stock as far as the motor and drivetrain goes (and he plans to keep it that way). I was busy running my own car (which ran 8.2’s btw)

What's the lightest front wheel tire setup and cost?

My Racestar Darkstar 18x4.5 setup with M&H Racemaster front runner is 38lbs looks like current prices have the setup around $1100 to $1200

These tires are DOT if that matters.
