I've often wondered how many of the original 2018 Demon owners still have their cars...and like me ...have no intention of selling their cars @ any price...my purchase was more of an emotional purchase....@ 18..when as a HS senior ..I could barely afford a new 71 Demon..on the showroom floor was a new 70 RT/SE triple black 440 6 pack 4 sp. Challenger...it was almost twice the price..I begged my mother to sign for me...wasn't gonna happen...@ 18 I thought I would never ever be able to afford a new Challenger ever...I remember sitting in that car like it was yesterday...the pistol grip shifter..the SE interior...soon I will have three of em...when I die..my son can do what he likes with them...to me..they are more than just cars...much more..

Yesterday I woke up in a cold sweat..I had the most bizarre disturbing dream...you were in my back yard..and slipped me a few of those magical mushrooms you indulged in High School...(the only image I have of you is wearing a helmet in a long ago post)..in my mushroom induced psychedelic stupor..you and your wife..(an attractive thin blond in nurses regalia...don't ask me where that came from)..made me sign over ownership of my Demon 170...I really shouldn't eat late @ night before turning in...

I could eat it @ 2am....my wife is Irish...she doesn't cook..(and you wouldn't want to eat it if she did)..I'm actually a very good cook..learned from both my Italian grandmothers...and my mother...

Growing up...we ate like kings..Sunday family dinners were an event....Aunts ..Uncles..Grandparents..Cousins..all lived close by..not unusual to have 15 or more for dinner....I got married young..I was 20..my wife 19...her idea of pasta was noodles in the microwave / ketchup on top and a little basil...thank God my mother lived 4 houses down...we would have starved...it was culture shock to say the least...
