I’ve thought about trying them because they make the DR in 315-40r18 for my car but right now I’m running Nitto G2s on all four corners for a little more street drivability. I have three sets of the Nitto 05 DRs and have tried ordering a couple pair of the Nitto R2s to try out but they always end up being out of stock.
If you can't get the Nittos then that would be a reason to buy the Atturos. I needed to replace my Nittos this year and looked into them. Pricing for a pair was less then $100 savings so didn't think it would be worth the switch. I ended up buying the Atturo az850 315/35/20 for the street. They don't hook like a drag radial but I rarely need a tire that does. The sweet part they were $300 a pair and will last a lot longer

That's good to know. My biggest issue is not many options are available for the 18" rim size which is why when I find Nittos in my size I just buy them, whether I need them at the time or not.

Where do you find them for $300 a pair? And they're 103Y.

I never said they were drag radials. The standard az850 are $300. Reread my original post saying for the money I would buy the nittos
I understand that those are only good for burnouts?

Those were the go to over the stock Pirellis for many people. Better traction and cheaper. The 315s are less then the 305s
