My 555r2 Nittos has been on the old Scat Pack and the Charger 2 different times, soon to be 3. 2 Power Tours, plenty of track and street miles. They still look good.

I have them. Ok on the street with warm days. Worthless at the drag strip. Although any 20 inch drag radial is worthless at the track.

Exactly. I did the same with the Atturos. I packed it up after two tries.

I do like one thing about them. Large rim protectors on them. On a warm day I can grab 3rd about half the time and 4th gear 80-90 percent of the time. 85 plus degrees.

It was fun and not serious. Still beat the ZL1. People came around where we were parked and congratulated me like it was a huge deal. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not much difference from nitto prices now. Used to be the favorite burnout tire for many people.

I am getting the 275 40 20s put on the front this Friday. Not the drag radial. The rear drag radials I have no bad things to say about them. Just not for the strip.

The front ones at discount tire were only 133. I could have gotten them less expensive. But not worth it. So they are still inexpensive.

I have Pirelli Sport Summers or something like that. It's like driving with an egg under the throttle pedal.

I don’t live in the tundra. But it snows in Tucson once in a while.

I’ve thought about trying them because they make the DR in 315-40r18 for my car but right now I’m running Nitto G2s on all four corners for a little more street drivability. I have three sets of the Nitto 05 DRs and have tried ordering a couple pair of the Nitto R2s to try out but they always end up being out of stock.
