Maybe Dodge supplied them to scratch the itch of many owners of having 2 pieces of plastic bolted to their cars. Maybe they thought the owners will permanently install the air scoops instead of the splitter guards.

Hell, even some members are purchasing the kit, and installing them on older Hellcats.

There's even talk of a new rotor company that might provide them with their rotor kits.

You know, just saying.
Sometime probably early in the summer this racing team is going to need some new rotors. You know, just saying!

I put the ducted belly panel and the deflector plates on my 2015.

My 2019 Redeye Original body has both the ducted belly panel and deflector plates installed from the factory.

I’ve no idea. Both my cars are Challengers.

My 2019 Hellcat would strongly disagree. As it has both the ducts under the splitter and the plates mounted to the control arms. This design is NOT a new concept as lots of performance cars have used something similar over the years.
Something similar came with the Camaro I previously owned. They wanted you to put them on when at the track and to take them off after. I never used them because I didn't keep the car long, so the next owner got them the same way I did....in the plastic, in the trunk.

Both of my original body Red Eyes came with the deflector kits in the trunk, from the factory. This is a type of item that would normally be put on at an upfitter facility instead of the main assembly line, but in this case, not worth the transport, unloading, reloading, etc. Since my cars did not go to any upfitters, the dealer was supposed to put them on but I told them to leave them off. I believe the wide body cars had the deflectors installed when the flares and/or wide tires were installed at the upfitter.

My WB came with them in the trunk. It was a pleasure and easy to install them myself.

Charger WB has two available front vented belly pans. However. it looks like they went back to the 6.1 style ducts, in lieu of the wide mouth slot, found on the Challenger WB's

First part number:

68231862AA

Second part number:

68214511AC

IDK... they both look the same.

Maybe they exit in a position, where the lower tension strut add on plates can be of use. One thing is for sure... I can't swap to a wb belly pan, like the Challengers can.

Have em on my charger.

Those new belly pans look interesting but I'm not about to give up my oil cooler drain door to try one.

Thanks for all the input fellas. But unfortunately I'm not a believer. Made the executive decision to leave'm off. Now just that much more weight not added to my stripper model. LOL.

I think you might be thinking of this incorrectly.

These aren't meant to be the equivalent of a powered, ducted brake cooling system.

What they are is a little bit of a boost (proven) at the end of the new, added ducts on the belly pan that get a specific jet of air pointed at your wheel barrels and brake rotors.

The air in there can be amazingly stagnant, adding the two different aspects of this kit makes for a specific air flow.

I see what your saying. But what I'm really doubting (and just what I think, or how I see it in practical logic) is that if you were going at speed....100...130....150+mph the air pressure and wind speed under the car is so tremendous and powerful anything tapering off the tail end of this "flap" would just get whisked away before it ever gets to the rotor. But again just how my eye sees it in practical application. Now a ducted cooling system that dumps right onto the rotor has no choice but to exit there. Again just how I see it, no scientific proof. Thanks for input BULL.
