True, but they're basically defying physics.
Gonna be interesting to see how they handle this whole EV thing going forward

I am leery of cars with 100K+ and lots of mods. Plus, buying a whole new suite of tools and tech to read everything, retune, etc... But, as noted, that can be balanced out (maybe, or at least in the mind) by the ticket price (I think that one was showing a bid of $27K when I looked.
Talk about ridden hard and put away wet...11 owners and been in more states then Biden...lots of little shit to deal with...I know 20 dollar hookers that are in better shape..:rolleyes:

They already have those, too. And you'd be surprised at the mpg a Turbo S can deliver, even when driven fast.

Just imagine if the Challenger had the benefit of 40 years of refinement...and R&D that the 911 has enjoyed...

40 years? This platform was developed during WWII.

And the Charger - Challenger platforms were under E Class Mercedes in the 90s. The strongest and most popular E Class ever. And yes, they are very popular as Taxi Cabs in Europe.

If by platform you mean basic design you could say that the Charger/Challenger has been around for a really long time.
Front engine cars are an even older concept.

Google says they sold 10,204 911s in 2022.

Did you join rennlist? (Forum)
I've been browsing, but didn't join. I'm still struggling with the thought of paying $100K for a car. My first house was about that.

It has the same basic body shape but in no means is the platform even remotely the same as 40 years ago, they have went through powertrain changes, aero changes, design changes, interior updates, fram structure changes, etc etc

It also has never stopped being produced, definitely possible for them to have done this but also remember porsche buyers and challenger buyers are a different bracket, the base porsche is still a 100k car luxury car, the base challenger is a rental car.
