My first mega fast bike was a 2003 Busa. High speed on a bike is a zen experience.

My nickname in high school was The Mental Oriental. it was 1970-1974 and the days of full contact, no gear in NY. I was 6'1" tall and 140 lbs. Had to be mental. Was quick as hell but prefer my current fighting weight...195.

Mine was a play on the words “silver bullet” because I had a silver billet Daytona and a silver billet Hellcat. Both were fast like a bullet. Also, I could kill a werewolf with my car...if it got in my way!

I put my 1st Vortech on my Mustang in '98 and was looking for a new personal plate and came up with that. If you have a supercharger it's supercharged. My car was Vortecd. I used the name on the internet and even though I haven't had a Vortech in 8 years it is still my name. At the beginning a lot of people didn't get it. By the time I bought my '13 Mustang I would be questioned why I had a Roush supercharger with that plate. It has become ME thus the plate was on my Daytona and now my current Hellcat TAXI

Back in the late 90's I had 3 1996 dodge ram Indy pace truck in various states . When I was looking for a personalized license plate I called the DOT every day for 2 weeks trying to get a plate with "Indy" in it . For some reason they were all taken . One day I was reading High Performance Mopar magazine and they refererd to them selves as "HP Mopar" I call and finally got a personalized license plate " Hp Indy" .
Then when the online forums started I used it as a user name because it was always available lol

Wife had a metallic pewter brown Daytona turbo Pacifica, liked the car 5 sp stick. 1988 went pretty good for the time
was just a tad slower than the fox body mustang I had in stock form. 87 Mustang GT 302. But once i did mods all bets were off.

My long time friends starting calling me Gatsby in the 70’s, they still do. When email came my first email had to be a version of it, because of course “Gatsby” was taken. So a version of “Gatzby” was used. Some folks know my real first name stats with a “D”, so we get DGatzby. That is my simple story.

A company I worked for about 25 years ago had 4 letter logins on the computer system, 3x from first name and initial of surname. There was already a LizR working there so I became LizE because I worked in the EDI department. Lizzie became Lize and it had stuck before I got another job.

It is amazing how many name plates are taken. When I was trying to get my personalized plates a few years ago I had to try literally like 50 names or more before I could come up with a version of the one I want. My sister and niece were helping me pick names and some of the ones they picked were crazy and funny (and taken!). We had fun doing it and I got the one I wanted just with an unusual spelling, but easily read and conveyed. I hate the plates you have to read and configure and decipher. If I can't figure it out at a glance, screw you I don't care what it says.
