My long time friends starting calling me Gatsby in the 70’s, they still do. When email came my first email had to be a version of it, because of course “Gatsby” was taken. So a version of “Gatzby” was used. Some folks know my real first name stats with a “D”, so we get DGatzby. That is my simple story.

I used to use Transman back in the old days as thats what I do for a living. Seems a lot of guys started using that name so I just used my own.
I had a collateral duty while I was @ LRS as a medic, at the PMO's swat team on Ft Bragg they sent me to armed forces medical University /park police in Bethesda MD for the Counter Narcotics and Terrorism Operational Medical Support course it added to my emtp cert to be a tactical EMT hence the new handle. It was good because I had more trauma time in ER when we weren't in field, and weapons qualed every 2 months, which was good for my home unit because I could cover all the ranges because I was always qualified.
Mine came from a car I’m building, a ‘69 fastback Cuba powered by a Hellcat crate engine. One of these evenings I’ll figure out how to post a picture for my avatar or even create a build thread with pictures...
I was Googling light weight racing seats for my '09 SRT a few years ago and came across a fresh, brand new thread on that very subject. It was on that other site a few years ago. It was live, but I couldn't participate because I wasn't a member. Member 'FunkyChicken' said he had a wiring schematic to address the airbag light problem when making the switch. I said oooh, ooooh let me join now before they remove this thread! So I joined with the quickest name I could think of and participated. I had my '09 SRT which was B5 blue so I just came up with coolblue. Yawwwn. That's it.
I literally thought it was self deprecating humor. I thought it was jerk but you were just saying it like j-roy-k. (NO, I in no way think your a jerk but I literally thought that was what it meant)
