That cage looks different because it is.  It’s basically a 7.5 cert without the added “funny car” hoop.  It’s a 7.5 “prep”.   The reason for doing that is to give the 4-link the necessary support to work at high power levels without bending the stock body all to hell.   Everything gets ‘triangulated’.   This car will end up a seven second ride but there’s a lot learning and experience to be acquired leading up to that.  The owner/driver will be best served sneaking up on it.    When that time comes, the additional bars will be a easy addition as all the hard stuff is done.
