I see that Jon has tuned your car. Were you at Orlando MSHS?
Yes Car was running good but was dropping to 40psi on fuel pressure. I have that fixed now with a dual pump should come to life.

I was a spectator at Orlando.

I put twin pumps in mine as a safety factor.

Beautiful!! Didn’t have to tub it?
No. The car from a chassis and drivetrain standpoint (excepting the engine) is a legal DragPak. The cage is certed to 7.5 seconds.

So, where can you find the strange drag pack setup on their site?

MPR in Almont, MI. Mike Pustenly (MPR) was a part of the original DragPak design group and he sells the 2015 version as a complete ready to install package. It’s all Strange engineering stuff. Including the fabricated housing with brackets, aluminum bolt thru carrier with Pro gears and spool or Wavetrac. 40 spline gun drilled axles, brakes with billet calipers, Strange adjustable shocks and Hypercoil springs. Also includes the crossmember that becomes a required part of the roll cage and ties everything together. Wheelie bars and the matching front suspension and brakes are also available. You would have to call and get a current parts list with prices as I’m sure it’s all gone up since I did it. I have a total of about $10k in the parts package for mine. That includes the front suspension (coil overs) and brakes plus the manual brake and steering conversions. From talking to the shock company. And seeing they do a ton with no prep and small tire stuff plus circle track got me to buy them.

I’m also looking for best bang for the buck to be honest. Not trying to throw the kitchen sink at it just yet

It is extreme from the install end of it. It requires a full cage that incorporates that crossmember and bars that tie in the 4-link link mounting points. Plus modifying the driveshaft tunnel and undercarriage over the rear end and replacing the fuel tank with a cell. Whole new fuel system and on and on. Once in, it’s fine for the street from a normal driving standpoint. The only thing that sucks is the manual steering. It’s still a heavy car and that Flaming River steering is like wrestling a bear. I would never suggest this is for anything other than the goal of a seven second car. For anybody wanting this….. you need to be able to do much of it yourself or have some connections and work some deals because if you have to pay the going $150 per hour rate… you might as well buy a DragPak. Picture of the other side of that….. 2BA21F55-80F9-4291-ADD1-DF179D882EDC.jpeg

I’m convinced I can’t do anything different driver wise due my times being so consistent every single run no matter what I do differently

I think the 3.70 is your biggest issue. I'd chage that to a 2.62 or 3.09.

I'd get the AAD drag pack arms and set to +.25 camber with you in it like HPIndy suggests.

I run a 2.62 and 305/45 17 MT ETR and have cut a 1.42 60' and my tune is way conservative. That was also on my old setup 2.4 blower and 2.72 pulley.

Agreed, the 3.70 is just a relic from my trans swap, and honestly it sounds like it has major lash adjustment issues. I run 315s, so think the 3.09 is the way to go. Having a hard time justifying the $1500 for the AAD arms when you can get zero camber Redeye knuckles with new hubs for $600
