I'm shocked that they are thinking they can repair this. I think they'll rethink this and replace the block instead.

That part on my block is rusted, probably why I haven't noticed 🤣

I like Nick overall and have watched all his vid's for a long time, but man, some of his mannerisms drive me batty. I commented immediately that no one in their right mind would reuse that repaired block at Hellcat power levels (or any for that matter!). Maybe he and his machinist will prove me wrong.

Yes there is, but the results (as far as I know) are hit and miss.

First thought I had too! I guarantee the repair attempt will cost that much or more at real shop rates, not to mention Nick's charges for engine R&R - completely uneconomical, and no way I risk another motor blow because of it. Keep the windowed block with the car's VIN as a souvenir when the widow sells it.
