if you wanna test on me I go 190mph at events in my hellcat routinely. And my Current rotors are about done.

Just saying. I will put those rotors to the test in a short period of time.

We appreciate this, but before you make that decision:

How much is each 1/10 worth to you at the track?

How much do you pay for each 1/10?

How easy and reliable are each of those 1/10s?

240lbs equivalent off of your car?

;)

CDT Rotors
240 equivalent

Some (most?) people use a 3X factor for rotational mass.
So your saying these new rotors are 80lbs. lighter than stock ? …. isn't that the whole weight of the stock rotors ?

We are still doing various testing...

The current business climate is a bit rough as well, I won't get into details, but current events have made it even worse.

Front O.E. rotor assy ~32lbs ea
Estimate CDT rotor assy ~9-10lbs ea

Rear O.E. rotor assy ~24lbs ea
Preliminary Rear CDT rotor assy ~8lbs ea

Please take these numbers as preliminary, especially the rears, and yes, it would seem that someone is guilty of some rounding.:censored:

Your in, and thanks, now I am too. They should just send me some to try this weekend on my Redeye. Nobody else is using their cars.

I'd be interested depending on pricing. We'll see.

What I’m thinking. I’m set on Demon Performance rotors but if these are tried and true and cost the same if not maybe a little more than I’m in.

Here's an early prototype, the size and alloy are correct, but the internal matrix is wholly different, this is just a "basic" fin design by comparison. (Think F1) This piece has not been post processed yet either, so the finished part will be a bit lighter than shown.

We're still a ways off yet...

Yes, that is less than 9lbs hanging off of that finger...

Edit: Actually, I misspoke, it WOULD be less than 9lbs hanging off of that finger, IF you INCLUDED the hat and hardware....

;)

And just in case anybody is wondering, yes, that is the 390 * 34mm front Hellcat rotor.

Are these rotors ok for DD / street & race ?

We believe that for the typical Hellcat driver that there will not be any issue with DD.

With that said, we have seen Hellcats with rustic wraps, mud tires and literally being driven in the sand off-road. We've seen Charger HCs doing donuts in 12" of snow in elevated parking lots, and even a Demon doing 0-60 videos in the snow as well (much love). So with that said, if this is someone's choice of driving, CDT Rotors might not be the best choice for those owners.

In design there is always give and take, and if CDT gave up something, it was tolerance for exposure to extreme debris.

Look at the vents in the O.E. rotor, you could pass a truck through there. There are two reasons for this, mass and, in our view, a silly need to accept debris that cars like this never (almost) see.

Many Hellcat owners don't let their cars see rain, nevermind mud, gravel, sand or salt.

Our rotors are specifically designed for, and intended for performance driving, whether it be 1320' at a time, or road courses.

When you see the actual design for the first time, we think you'll be impressed and you'll understand.

Im staying tuned !!!
good to see at least a picture of these!!
I don’t drive my car in any weird environments so I should be fine haha. I just want to cut some weight on my car. Even though I’m never gonna race it, I’d still like to get as much performance out of it as I can afford to.
