Here's what you have to turn off, in the BCM. Perhaps @Unholy707 can provide specifics on how to get to this setting because I don't remember exactly without going through the motions myself.

ADCM Active Dumping Control, this should be enabled on cars with an active dampening control module. Switch it to Not Enabled and everything will work as if you don't have it when all 4 shocks have been swapped to aftermarket. Don't mind the name, they mislabeled it in the software.

Awesome! Thanks Z! I’ll have to dig into it a bit or “dump” (🤣)the full config and see which menu it’s under. That should get you started @Hatermkr. Lots of great info here. Can’t believe that’s what they have it named in there lol

I take a backup typically and flip switches until I see what works. For my a8 swap I got a read from an a8 scat pack believe it or not and mirrored the config for the most part. You’ll really like Alfa @Hatermkr , you can clear codes from individual modules that regular scanners can’t. I have 1 in my BCM right now for a short to ground for my fuel level sensor, pretty sure the floater is getting hung up on the wires on my dual pump setup. I would have service fuel sensor flash on my dash but no lights, without Alfa I would have had no idea where the issue actually was

Notepad++ and Excel will be your friend when comparing your original config file to changes you make, but I believe you can even do a full restore now from your original config file - haven't looked into what the newer versions full capabilities are.

I use it with my android phone...also, use a bypass cable if MY 2018 or newer.
