I like the concept. But if I understand correctly, to get pure hydrogen requires a lot of electricity....?

I read where splitting water with electricity is another method.

We switched all (well most) of our plants PEVs over to hydrogen earlier this year from battery powered. Replaced hundreds of large commercial batteries with rechargeable Hydrogen fuel cells and two fueling stations.

This is what I mean though….the process to get pure hydrogen uses more energy than the resulting product can produce. So in essence the hydrogen car is still “coal powered” much like an EV.

Don’t tell some people that - it’s not like I just said that a week ago

Hydrogen for the win...

...in the sense that it's even harder to come by than E85 and EV charging stations.

If you think MS109 is expensive....

Wait!!! The gvt can subsidize H2!!!! Then it'll be cheap!!! :ROFLMAO:

Reminds me of a quote by P. J. O'Rouke a long time ago that I will never forget and applies to this:

“If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it costs when it's free.”

This applies to pretty much everything the gvt helps us with.

There's many different ways to create pure hydrogen besides the electrical splitting process.

Yes! Like splitting it from natural gas! Then why not just burn the natural gas in the first place?

Pretty much the only place H2 makes sense is in spacecraft.

I think it's more about low or 0 emissions and keeping ice engines. Nothing makes sense and I like an ice engine.

We both know there is no such thing as a tooth fairy, Santa, or zero emissions. It's all a game to control people and extort money at the expense of the masses.

The regular earth citizen has been getting hustled since the beginning of time.

We all know it. Many have decided that it's easier to live in denial and comply.

I believe that the earth continues to regenerate itself continuously.

And you're right. It's about control. When you can print money out of thin air, anytime you want, does that sound like trying to achieve wealth?
