That Fiat is disgustingly nice, but the answer is in the article: 4G63T
Crankwalk
Pass

I guess the 6 bolts were fine but the 7 bolt was junk

GM EcoTec was pretty bad ass.
SRT4 Neon was also bad ass.
2.3L Ford RS motor
Honda's 1.6 and 1.8L VTEC motors were revolutionary for their time.

Still my favorite was a guy had a comp eliminator Camaro (i think it was comp). 4 cylinder that was basically a 540 bbc that was cut in half to make an I4. On a testing pass it went 9 something.
I can't describe the sound but it was different. And the time slips proved it was no slouch

Overblown. The percentage of 7 bolts that did walk is quote low, but it became quite the meme. That said, I only ever built/drove 1g cars with 4 bolt rears, so my failures were limited to stretched head studs under big boost.

@landoawd we use to hoon the shit out of those in our talons/eclipses

For me my K20A3 holds a special place, that motor would rev out to 8k and be happy.

It's where the "AWD" came from in my username. I looked at buying another, but the used market is stupid high now.

I helped build one at a shop that suffered that problem twice.

Otherwise, only messed with the 1Gs myself.
Had a 92 Talon TSI AWD with a hybrid t3/t4 deal. 6 bolt crank, 4 bolt rear, new transfer case from Eagle.
Popped a head gasket and down the road it went. LOL.
Oh to be stupid and 20 again

That sounds like a guilty plea to me.

We outsourced the machine work.

Actually, all the problems began when his kid decided to drive the car home in a bad thunderstorm and the intake sucked up a bunch of water from driving in a huge puddle of water.

Eventually, the STI came out. Guy bought that and parked the car.

I just did the nitrous installs
