Hey all. I have a 2015 with the ripatuned lower pulley and an intake. Do I need to replace the spark plugs with stock gapped plugs or something more gapped since the car isn’t fully stock?

Probably not, but if you want to check them and change them while there most use NGK 2309 gapped at .028” for mild boost applications.

I ran stock plugs in mine at 20psi with no problems, but when it's time to change them do what GoManGo says.

I’ve run 30 psi of boost on the NGK 2309 gapped at .018” with the 3.8 Whipple, they are still in the engine at that gap at 24-25 psi of boost now with the 2.7 IHI, runs good enough to break my Tranzilla lol.
With more boost less gap not more is better, especially on a wetter aircharge charge with ethanol.

.018 is pretty tight lol, I just didn’t want spark blow out and I know I’m making more boost now and it breaths better

I’m barely pushing 13-14 pounds of boost with my setup as is. I guess stock plugs isn’t an issue.

@Koozies fat cat

What lower pully do you have?

Or are you running the RipTuned "Incognito"

Same setup (tuned) I've been running since 21 on stock plugs. No issues so far.

Did you leave the plugs at the 0.032 stock gap?
