I’m glad the 15s are a lot easier. I’m telling you with 100% certainty the 17s aren’t like that man. I’ve done mine myself twice

You have to stretch the tire like an entire 2-3” at the end on 17s. Don’t know if it’s a manufacturing issue or what

15’s are easy. The added sidewall they have over a 17 makes a huge difference. The radials are a lot heavier/stiffer than the bias ply slicks like the Hoosiers. They are really easy. I have double beadlocks, so I have to pull the inside bead over the rim on the inside as well. Double the work but still not a problem doing it by hand. No need to break the inside bead when removing with those.

Do the balancing beads really work that well?

Yeah, wish someone would buy my rear setup (17x10 f14 headlocks w 315s). They’re still brand new, and I have custom hub centric rings for the inside of them to take up the slack. 15s are the ticket, just need the rear brake conversion

They prevent the tire from coming off the bead as you stretch it and work you way around.

Jig saw, bench grinder and a drill. Easy. Made a little template out of cardboard and traced it on the aluminum

Once it’s on there all the way around it won’t come off. Remove tabs, screw ring on
