The idea behind the calipers is their precision.

My best interpretation of your wooden ruler is somewhere between 32 and 33mm thickness, which is essentially end of life on the rotors, and indicates much more than the 2k miles of use stated.

(32mm is minimum thickness on these rotors)

They only have 2k miles on them. But i will head to auto zone and buy a digital measurement and let you know. Give me 30 mins. I wouldnt lie to you. Current miles on my car right now. And i dont drive hard or have i ever tracked or dragged the car.

Thats the measurements from the digital tool. On a few spots it showed 33.9. But seems like 34.0 for both.

Those rotors look pretty nice to me. The brake pads don’t wear all the way to the outside edge of the face and the face looks flat all the way to the edge?

Yup the surface looks flat the whole way. I mean 2k miles and never driven hard so they should be practically new but obviously not new.

Its definitely not 400mm. My measurements came out to apx 380mm.

No further measurements really necessary but I don’t think that ruler helps to show the diameter of the rotors? Don’t you have a tape measure?

The reason i used a ruler is because it had CM and MM but let me get a tape measure real fast. Here is the dia. Omw to work hope this helps.

That’s a nice mitutoyo set. I used to have a really old set of dial calipers from them. Someone stole them from my high school locker. I was so upset. Of all things, why steal some calipers out of a locker?

I think that’s a great price for some good looking brakes!

If I were you, I’d post them on a forum with more Scat Pack owners or EBay. This is a direct bolt on setup for those SPs with the 4 piston Brembos, I’d expect them to go fast. I upgraded mine back when I had my Shaker and remember there being a lot of interest when I put it back to stock and sold them.

I've shipped many rotors at this point, I can get them shipped on a standard UPS account for ~$35ea ground/insured, I would expect the calipers to be roughly the same price if not a bit less due to smaller dimensional weight.

So there in lies your issue with your shipping quotes.

Are you getting your quotes from UPS direct or from a "UPS Store" which I suspect is marking up your pricing???
