Do you know how hard he pushed it? I'm really wanting 8.6 no spray stock blower. The guy claming fastest bolt on is spraying and is in the low 8.5s for a pb in houston. Has a @hellno trans. I may need the trans as mine has a lot of passes and still stock. My changes will most likely get me a solid 26psi. Hopefully long tubes drop that a little. I see close to 23psi in good air before with 2.85 10 lower and stock tb not ported. Adding ice tank which will allow me to go to a 2.75. Bearing plate and the sdg sount with a 108tb. Good chance it will equal more than the 26psi. Id like to stick around 25psi with the long tubes or no doubt I have issues. Even at 25psi its a time bomb. Just need to get through April before I make bigger investments. I could bolt the heads down pretty cheap if I didnt go arp 625s. But even then......
That and I'd like to put some lengths on @fumanchu182 before doing anything extreme. :ROFLMAO:
i got bigger fish to fry

I dont think there is enough good info out there to say what the hp limit is. Put 87 octane in and run the hell out of it. Something will probably go so do you say 700 hp is the limit? Detonation and going lean are your 2 most killers of engines. You stay out of those you are going to make a lot of power before something goes. How much, like I said dont think there is enough info to put a hp number on it, we can guess and most do. There will be what the rod bolts are suppose to hold but I have seen where some say a supercharger will help them make more power. Again not sure. Jon and I have already past what most say they are good for. There is also stress on the parts in how frequent you are pushing them.

There isn't a hp # but there is a psi #. Anything above 23 psi makes those rods the weakest link.

I know Chris that drives the bolt on car you are talking about. I met him at streetcar takeover 3 years ago. He really has that car dialed in. He's been driving the wheels off of it like that for a long time. It really is bolt on parts with a built trans because it finally gave out.

Yup. He's a good dude. I can't remember what size pulley he's running. I want to say it's a 2.65 with a 10% lower and a 200 shot of nitrous. It may be different though. I have not saw him in a while since my car was down all last summer.

I know this thread is a little while back. How did y’all order these long blocks I tried to go to my local dealer today and they wouldn’t let me order the cheaper part number without a vin. This thread is what made me go hunt one. I’ve seen them online as well and called one of the places to make sure if I ordered it they wouldn’t cancel without the vin. Said the same thing. That mopar wouldn’t release the engines without proper documentation. I’m doing a restomod on a 72 Duster.

They rule changes a little while back. If you want a long block you need a vin

You could call East Coast Moparts and ask them what's different, Andy and team would know.

Later year Hellcats got some improvements (2018 and up I'm told) which make the motors stronger, and Demon/Redeye stronger still, but they're not bullet proof. A professionally built motor is always the best bet if you wanna lean on it IMO.

The numbers I've heard are 850rwhp for a Hellcat (and a Redeye too) but I think the Redeye can take about 100rwhp more. Beyond that you're rolling the dice I think.
Made over 900 to the wheels on stock 2015 hellcat engine still kicking 60k miles later

I bought one from Andy at East coast mopar and from Eric Delorio from team hellcat ,going with a new block is definitely the way to go ,I never gave a vin number myself,I made 1100 to the wheel on my stock motor ( 18 year model block ) and even though it was running fine when we disassembled it , we later found a crack in the block , when they say these motor can handle 1500 Hp ,that may be true but how long can they handle that is in question because there’s too many variables ( a lot have engine failures with less hp on here and won’t mention it because of embarrassment or because they dont want the tuner to look bad ) , tuning being the most important in my opinion and how much your willing to spend on the internals .but don’t fool yourself thinking if you buy all the best parts it will hold up , there’s a reason they don’t guarantee any internal engine parts

I hope you do and keep good notes. Will help folks a lot I think.

I know Demonology pushed his original Demon engine pretty hard. It eventually lifted a head and when disassembled reportedly had 6 bent rods.
Well. Uhhhh
