Are we talking daily driver beater cars, because I'm not seeing vast discounts on disposable income cars, yet.

I'm following 11 cars on Car Gurus. All Corvettes. 13' C6 427's, 17-19 C7 Grand Sports & Z06's.

Some reduced, but NOT across the board drops.

Nope. There will be a shortage of anything other than lease/rentals.
Where do you think the rest comes from? Trades on new cars that are not selling right now. When new cars dont sell there are no trades. Supply has been cut off. Prices wont get cheaper on much aside from 2-3 yr old rental/leases.
The articles people are reading and regurgitating here are lumping the entire used market together and you cant.

The virus and GM strike really altered the Corvette landscape on seeing a flood of used C7's to be traded in on the 20' C8. Now, it's waiting on the 21' C8.

Are there deals out there? Sure. But NOT at drastic "we gotta move inventory" deals. Plus. Not everybody is losing their ass on this, economically or financially. There are still plenty of people who can afford a $70,000+ car.

Bad news if your lease is up this year...If they cant get their residuals at auction..they may even suspend leasing...dodge did it with ram pickups about eleven/twelve years ago...drastically lower than projected residuals spells trouble for the leasing industry...
