I can have a 392 swapped into my Jeep for 50k
I paid 45k for it.

Hell, you can get a 426 Hemi and an 8spd swapped in and have it work just like factory for 50K (albeit there's are other expenses I'm sure)

I got quoted 130k to do Hellcat, 8 speed, 8 lug, 40s the whole deal. Its not that bad, all factory parts, everything new. A TRX is now 125k and if you already have a Jeep...my only complaint on the HC swap is they won't do a stick shift.
The 392 and 426 they will.

I've got a 2014 2door Wrangler sport V6 5spd that I thought about putting a 5.7l into myself. Not sure I would want the 6.4 and it's not worth putting $36k into but a junkyard 5.7 would be cool.

If I wasn't so in over my head on the Hellcat I would probably sell it and go back to gm...probably a V3 or CT5 Blackwing. THAT'S how much deep rooted disgust and hatred I have for what they've done the last 2 years.

But with cost of car factored in I only stand to lose about...40 large if I sell it. NBD. Pocket change. Ha.

Does it kill me to be stuck with it for now though? Absolutely not.

I was in the dealer the other day getting the oil changed on the wife’s GC and they had a 4 dr Rubicon with the 6.4 in it on the floor. I wandered over to look at the sticker for shits and giggles. It was “only” showing an MSRP of $96,000. Not sure if there was any ADM but either way they can suck it.

We have racks and racks of 6.4l engine assemblies on our line and are making them non stop. I'm told by a few local dealers (including my dealer) that they sell every one they can get their hands on around here! It is JEEP COUNTRY here in NW Ohio though

I want one but I have too many other money sucks to buy one right now. Maybe swap a 6.4l 8spd into the 2014 two door Wrangler we have now for about $35k for all new stuff. Can probably do it myself for half that with used items.



PS: It's awesome when they run a 392 Wrangler through rolls test!! You can hear them all through the plant
