The worst I can remember were the Nexens that came on my '17 Ram.
They were quiet and rode well, but the best part was that they started coming apart with about 20,000 miles on them, which was a perfect excuse to switch to Toyos. And it wasn't just my tires, many others had the same experience with those Nexens.
100 bucks a pop or 600 bucks a pop. They all make the same smoke.
Had Cosmo MuchoMacho's on it for awhile. Before the great covidhoax they were 83 bucks a piece on ebay. Honestly a TERRIFIC tire. Made it 2 seasons of absolute abject asshattery and all-around performance was great.
Currently on Accelera Iota or whatever the cheapest budget tire at Walfail was. Since all tire prices went to the moon the cheapest 275/40/20 I could find was about 120 bucks last year in the spring. These make great trailer burnouts on Drag & Drives. Rain performance is above average for class of tire (was able to maintain 65 in a literal sideways monsoon on the way to motion raceworks during sick summer...AFTER roaching half the tread off) and they made it thru Drag week and Buckeye Skips so far. I'll make it thru Southeast Street-N-Yeet too most likely.
I spend the good money where I have to. Mickey Thompson ET Street R's 315/50/17. Lol.
