Are you agreeing with me or? Lol
FYI- friends Tesla goes thru tires every 15-18,000 miles. My tires look good at 29,700 miles, it looks like I will get 35,000 or 40,000. EV's are not hard on brakes because of the regeneration, I hardly use my brakes.

Tires maybe, depends on brand and weight. Brakes, no, the regen is crazy good on most EV's, brakes not heavily used, some would say hardly used. The regen causes such deceleration that a software update was done on my EV to flash the brake lights sooner (the brakes light up depending on the deceleration G's, regardless whether the brakes are applied or not).

I wonder if the speakers can be completely removed.?

Save embarrassment and weight

Oh, right, just don't buy it in the first place.

Christ almighty, they kept telling us to expect the replacement to be smaller on the outside but with more interior volume than the outgoing models.

This thing is 6 inches longer and 5 inches wider than a Durango. And this is the 2 door. This is 69 Charger big.

Maybe we can expect a 3 row variant as well soon.

EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS*
EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS R/T SCAT PACK
Wheelbase 121.0 (3,074.3) 121.0 (3,074.3)
Vehicle Length 206.6 (5,247.9) 206.5 (5,247.9)
Front Overhang 29.9 (984.5) 29.9 (984.5)
Rear Overhang 46.8 (1,189.1) 46.8 (1,189.1)
Maximum Vehicle Height 58.9 (1,497.4) 59.0 (1,499.3)
Front Track 68.7 (1,745.8) 67.2 (1,707.8)
Rear Track 69.1 (1,755.3) 67.6 (1,717.2)
Width (w/o mirrors) 79.8 (2,027.8) 79.8 (2,027.8)
Width / Height Ratio 1.3 1.3
Maximum Width 84.3 (2,140.8) 84.3 (2,140.8)
Ground Clearance 5.5 (141.3) 5.6 (142.8)

The 2 door & 4 door will be the same as far as overall dimensions
Same as the gas version

Look like pretty good woofers. They could play rock and roll pretty good. That Hybrid Jeep I rented had some really strange stuff coming through its speakers I thought.

Why? If building new car why wouldn't they down size it? That was the talk about going to a smaller platform

I think because they are using 1 platform for the 2 & 4 door

How does the length of 206.60" compare to the current Charger ?

No, I don’t think anyone would agree that an EV that goes through tires every 20k miles pollutes as much as a similar ICE car. The ICE car is also burning through tires, and if they’re similar then give/take 20% tire wear. The original article says 9lbs per tire per year - get the fuck out of here. ICE brake wear is significantly higher than EV. I think it’s safe to say that the small number of EV drivers out there are generally MUCH MORE CONSERVATIVE with their driving habits, so though the vehicle is heavier, it’s not being driven as aggressively. Even when driven aggressively, it’s not doing burnouts, it’s hooking and booking.

I think everyone on this site would agree that “burning up tires quickly” is something we all specialize in, in our ICE cars.

The hit piece is getting a lot of traction from people that don’t know anything about cars. This take is more appropriate-

I just put 2 new Michelin 305/35r20s on the rear. $475 per tire plus install, $1100 out the door!!! Got 18 months and 15k miles on the last set. Car is knocking on the door of 40k miles now.

Gas and tires, that's all these cars really need. Granted a lot of gas and tires, but little else.

If you remember this video, it appears this TT i6 Drag Pack is launching and moving down the quarter in lowercase.

Dodge still has some work and remarketing to do here.

This was pure stupidity on Dodge's part.

I'm fine with putting the Hurricane in the Drag Pak, but let an engine builder play with it. A 76mm ultra street trim turbo, on e85, and a fender exit exhaust.
Let the popping, banging, and loud whistle catch everyone's attention as it pulls a 600ft burnout on the street.

Then line up it up with a Demon 170 for a quick race.

The collectors won't give a shit and still pay through the nose for their ICE fantasies. The rest of us need that image of the next generation of muscle cars and the possibilities that it would bring.
