I am not going to give a thought to Tesla unless they somehow start actually gaining market share (right now they just keep reselling to the early adopters, no new traction beyond that), and somehow turn that multi-billion dollar per year losing company into a profitable one? HAHAHA I won't hold my breath!
The cars got no soul...its a deaf mute..sure its fast 0-60..and in the quarter....big deal...I drive my car more than a quarter mile a day...want a faster car than the T car...build a race car...Our cars would be a lot less fun if we were totally deaf...in a tesla...it doesn't matter...

California will start looking into adopting this type of policy within the next 2-5 years, and Canada will probably aim for the same thing in plus/minus 5 years after Cali. My Mrs and I had a very heated conversation about how, if allowed to continue unimpeded, the vocal minority of woke culture (climate change, cis-gender, anti-able bodied Caucasian male, virtue signaling) activitists are going to really upset the balance in the next decade, and are going to cost us "normies" a lot of money in the process so that they "feel" better.

Quit doomsday preping and start figuring out how to just keep your household running in the wake of "good intentions". I'd argue this is a call to arms to start fighting for your liberties.

Yeah....like the idiots around here coming back from Value City Furniture with one wrap of twine holding it on.....

..... What I don't understand about the Tesla, is why they don't have an alternate way of charging via a small engine like hybrids do to charge the batteries.......
Then it would be a “hybrid”.

and then when you need to charge a long way from home, you ain't going anywhere as fast ...

Recharging when on a long distance road trip is my biggest concern. 200 mile range is great if you’re commuting back and forth to work, but if you have a 500 mile day ahead of you, charging is a huge concern.

I think most T owners have multiple vehicles. Road trips would not involve the T. Unless you find planning such a thing fun. Around town and to work, no problem.

yes...it would. I just don't see the value in a car like a Tesla with it's high price, that has no way to charge itself other than to be plugged into an outlet. It would be so much nicer if it had a secondary ability like a small engine/generator to charge itself.

It’s already happening and most people don’t even realize it. Blissful ignorance.

The problem has to be our education system. Saw a poll that over 30% of our young people support Communism the other day. Same folks are all over this Socialist shit! Who else has been brain washing our youth??

You are right on target. I saw that poll too. I believe it, but at the same time couldn't believe it. That is a very sad commentary about where we are in our country. Educators are some of the most liberal factions of our populace and they start indoctrinating our kids early.

This is what happens when government raises and educates our youth. It is inevitable that things like this will happen.

Here is a old article from Canada from 2012. This is what happens. I do not have children but if I ever do I will home school them.

We didn’t home school our kids, but we did have then in Christian schools. At least they got some conservative values from them and us as parents. My son is more liberal than I’d prefer, but at least he’s fiscally conservative. My daughter isn’t drinking the cool aid and is quite conservative.

My 6 year old has been getting "deprogrammed" on a daily basis for the last few years.

I teach at a liberal university and you are mostly correct. I'm no liberal though and can tell you that you would be surprised (and happy to see) that there are students that hate the liberal bias they are being fed by some. There is hope. The problem is that many of them keep quiet about their political stance because they are afraid of retribution and condemnation by the left. Now that's B.S.

Sales, marketing and other business courses. No physics. Prior to teaching I spent 36 years in the business arena so now is my time to help mold young people based on experience rather than liberal biased material. When they get out into the "real world" they will quickly find out that they will need more than luck and latte's to get through the day:)

Maybe they'll start to hate all of those taxes that they've been voting for as well...

My MBA was taught mainly by working professionals who also had careers in the field. Very different experience compared to my undergraduate who had more courses taught by professors who never "worked" in the profession.

Learned that myself. I spent many years in the a/c, indoor air, mold, mildew, building envelopes, tall ones. Working after the 1 year new warranty that the, so called college engineers, put together. The engineering companies down here still hate me for there lousy work. I made a lot of $$ for what the schools have put out. I was deemed the street engineer from hell. Rescheduling equipment for their down sizing equipment that causes indoor air quality problems in FL. I say, god bless the idiots. Street smarts goes along way.
