I like his reviews, he does the same sort of thing with all the cars. He likes to pick out oddities and quirks. Overall I had no issues with this review. I think he is mostly correct with his points. Most of the mentioned sort of negatives don't bother me but some do. I'm no fan boy and picked this car for many reasons and am willing to accept its negatives. Overall, I love this thing and there is nothing else available that better meets my wants. Its far from perfect but I love it.

He completely misses the entire point, at least for the Challenger. It’s a retro design, even in 2008 it was. It’s SUPPOSED to be somewhat old. To me that’s the entire draw. It’s exactly why I love it. The German crap has no retro muscle appeal, this is apples to onions imo and we know which one the onion is.

What I want to know is how easy is it to get the enhanced performance pages on the older car? Not the line lock yada yada, just the improved look and functionality. I have always thought the charger version of the pages seemed kind of a hack job, given what competitors were putting in their cars at the time of release.

Ok.....I'll admit it....when I first saw this thread early this morning (before any coffee), I watched the first 40 seconds or so and thought wow...this guy is an annoying douchebag. not wanting to start my day feeling like that, I turned the video off and looked at some other threads here and tried to go about my day cleaning my "new to me" truck since the dealership didn't do the kind of job that's acceptable to me.
Later....I came back to this thread and read some of the comments for a few laughs, which is always enjoyable.
After reading several more comments, I figured that I really should go back and watch the video. Boy...was that a mistake. I jumped ahead from the previous place that I stopped this morning to get a fresh start. Nope....nothing changed...still the same d-bag except this time I watched it long enough to hear him tell us about 63 times that the design of the car is old....and everything about it is old. I skipped ahead to see if the d-bag factor had gone down, but alas, it had not. I stopped watching the video at that point, and refuse to watch any more. For all I know, he could be giving out the winning numbers for tomorrow nights powerball drawing, but unfortunately I'll never know because right now all I want to do is find him and put 15 gallons of water and two heavyweight cotton towels to very good use. I don't need him to tell me the truth about anything. I don't want him to recant his story. I just want to waterboard him.....and not for his pleasure...for mine....until it gets old. I might need an additional 50 gals or so of water.

I have seen lots of reviews on the HCs. They all seem to nitpick, but then when they drive it and get on the throttle, you see the same thing...big smiles! I like watching them so I can see them eat their hoity toity words. Yea but..yea but....whoaaaaa. This thing is FAST...great breaks...hmm, kinda handles pretty good....
I have owned the European offerings and been dinged by the we-are-so-special-of course your maintenance/repair bill is astronomical-stick. And really, I'm not in the HC to experience the furniture digest lap of luxury.
My HC gives me exactly what I want...audacious visual vibe of power sitting still or on the go, great sounds, and thrills. And so far, shes totally reliable and easy to live with day to day.
So I take no offense with the reviewer dweebs.
We who own them know whats up!

I find it troubling how few people can remain objective when their decisions are being criticized - almost like a form of religious infallibility or nationalism (USA! USA! USA!).

Sure you are good, but you aren't THAT good. Don't like an opinion? Refute it with facts not emotional bias.
