Too cool. My HD had LED's on it, but about 15 or more yr ago, a local county cop pulled us over one night and gave me hell about it. Screw it, I unfortunately removed them. The more you post and show, it scares me Bro!

Forgot, no it was a War Eagle frame. That rolling chassis was the one we nearly had to go collect the frame from the damn builder with cannons in the back hills of TN.

That SOB torched a rather new well driven Z06 by multiple car lengths in about 1/4 mile. It was one scary ride. That was the evening I decided to sell it. I just drove the car that night and hold his land speed record to this day. Same darn Mexican road I still have to drive my RE to.

It resides west of Nashville, TN now, rests in a very rural area.

When and if I ever want, I can re-create that sucker better and a bunch cheaper. When it worked great, but I had lots of problems with it. Sometime we will talk, I promise.

Sorry but for me chrome wheels = bling imo (Besides Dgatz). All that extra $$ in the expensive plating process just to make most vehicles blingy to me lol. Don’t care about people thinking my vehicle looks cheap, better than blinged out for me.
Cheap wins for me lol. Although im not a Brass Monkey fan either. See? We agree lol.

I like the black wheels on my silver Hellcat but I really love the stock chrome and black ones on my 2013 Daytona. I would not like the all black as much on it but like the black ones better on the Hellcat

To me black painted wheels screams "cheap"
If you've ever seen the chrome plating process you know it's cost much more than spray painting. That's why manufacturers like painted wheels.
Now manufacturers offer a chrome bumper pkg. "For extra $$" on their pickup trucks.

I like painted wheels...and depending on the car..chrome as well..my vipers wear chrome...my cats...painted...I like em both

Learned ages ago, everyone likes different, wheels, colors, themes, everything. That is plenty okay, that is change and innovation at work.

I was really into custom bikes. Even won big contests with a major chrome looking bike. I like chrome! You guys think you want to walk up to the guys whom believe chrome is cool at a motorcycle show and tell them you believe they are using the chrome to attract attention, and therefore they should ride/buy that new black wheeled model that you are driving??

Notice I say I don't like black, okay, but I don't call people names or make assumptions as to WHY, or the reasons they have selected wheels that are a different color than I like.

You guys see any similarities between these two vehicles? Besides the spruce trees and two wheels! It just looks as good in my mind to the chemicals that flow in your mind looking at the black wheels.

I will amend my comments to add, I DO like black wheels on white, granite and silver cars! Not so much on black, or other very dark color cars.

It was one of the reasons I got B5 for my Demon (versus one of the darker colors). Since there was no choice in wheel color, I wanted the contrast. White would have been my second choice. Kinda stinks that having polished aluminum is really no longer an option.

I would love a polished option. The wheels on the 2020 Charger seem to have the option of a lighter color (lighter than previous) available. Or maybe it's the lighting in the pics that makes them look lighter than previous years.

This is one of the very reasons I got white. It was the highest contrast level between the body and other accents. I was on the fence with getting the bronze Race stars versus gloss black; I wussed out and got black - knowing I could plastidip them later.
