2019 HCWB, first Hellcat.
I drove Plymouths since 58 and owned first new Plymouth in 63.
It was the first year for the "Road Runner' although Plymouth didn't call it that until 68. I make that claim as it was a "B" body, 2 door post with a 383 HP engine with every HD option in the book I could order.
I have had many Plymouths, Dodges and Chryslers since. I've owned other makes, but a MOPAR was always in the stable.

My first Dodge was a buttercup yellow used Omni around 1981. I bought it mostly so I didn’t have to drive my 70 442 W30 in the winter. It was a manual though! It could have been a few years later too. A bit fuzzy on when I bought it.

I've had a couple Dodges before, but it is my first Hellcat. My first Dodge was a 1984 Dodge Daytona. Next was a 1994 Dodge Stealth R/T. Then I had a 2000 Dodge Dakota.

Nope.

My first MOPAR was actually a turbo K-car. The story goes:

1991 Sundance - HEMI orange turbo 2.5L with Turbonetics turbo and Spearco FMIC, 5 speed manual, Shelby stuff, exhaust dump, 4 wheel discs, etc. It leaked water, had epic electrical shorts, and ate engines thanks to me over-boosting it. We are pretty sure it was painted with a Wagner fence painting gun because it had crazy stripes in the paint that made it look like a watermelon. My brother blew it up once, and so did I. It sat in the driveway with a blown head gasket until it was sold as a roller. Natasha hates discussing this car - mostly because she could never learn how to drive it. One of the fragged pistons sits on my desk at work as a reminder that you really can have too much boost.

I remember those from my days of Mexico racing in the 90’s. My buddy had a Dodge Shadow and would win so much because people didn’t know what it was. He had a sticker on the back window that said “Mom’s Car” :ROFLMAO:

I bought a new Sundance Duster new in 1993. Same green. It was a four speed that took a while to find. Had crank windows. With the 3.0 6 cylinder engine the car was pretty quick for its time. It was a fun car to drive. Only real issue I had was manual transmission linkage was terrible. It was all cables and locked up on me several times. Back to the dealer to fix. Around 135,000 miles the car started to rust at lip of tailgate. Wiring started going bad. It’s like the car was designed to self destruct at that mileage. Notice how you never see one on the street anymore. Just all gone. I don’t even see any in the junkyard anymore.

Close - first was the '09 SRT Challenger after 40 years GM only. Now only one non-FCA left in the family, my '11 GMC pickup.

My 1st. Hellcat, but two years ago I had a 2006 Dodge Viper, and three years prior to that, a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. I miss them both, but wouldn't trade my Hellcat Redeye for either one😎

My first car in high school(1986) was 71' Dodge Dart Swinger Special. 318ci. 3sp auto. My 2nd ride was the following yr upon graduation in 1987. 75' Dodge Powerwagon. 360ci. 4barrel Holley 600. 4 sp manual. Full time 4wd. Beast. 9mpg maybe. But a 28 gallon tank. 😂

Swinger was traded for another motor on another project. Circa 1991 or so. PW sold in 1998 shortly after son was born and the C5 was bought.

My 14 Chrysler 300SRT was my first FCA product since. Almost 16 yrs in between. 16' HC Charger bought Dec 2018 and now 20' SRTD. 🍻

My first car was a 1986 Ford Escort 75hp...damn that thing was slow. Then 84 Camaro Berlinetta, then 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. Now back with a Hellcat, first time HC and Dodge owner.

Nick,
From Ohio, Able to drive this time of year?? Inside or ouch,,, out?? Purchase it new or at what age??. My 1st Hell Cat and love it. Being from Florida, I am able to drive months with no hurricanes. Right now is time for tune and drag. We have 75 and 58 days and nights. I guess you have 3.5 months then let er rip. Test and tune then. Here in Fl we have some great tracks open this time of year but after June,,, forget it,, way too hot. Time to install Killer Ciller. MOPAR. 1 st was high school, Dodge Dart, 1972. Then crazy moto head cars kicked in. Then Jimmy Carter kicked in and te 455, 289s, 389s, all went away. Enjoy when it warms up.
