Capitol when it was open was breaking axles left and right, that's how sticky it was. They are gone for now, MDIR is good. Ran a 10.9 there on my first day out in like 2800 DA.
I’ve never been to Carolina dragway but to me the best prep has always been in hollysprings Mississippi, it’s consistently hooks there every time , other tracks have been nice Montgomery was great on Saturday but Friday night the track couldn’t hold my power tune , rockingham was a bitter disappointment last time I was there , Brainerd in Georgia was very good also , Alabama International dragway was great as well but I only got two passes that night because I tried to help someone else out , but Colby had several passes and hooked all night
But hollysprings Mississippi even on a test day that me a truck and one big tire car was testing I hooked every time
Nola was good but when it got to the final round of the heavyweight champion run I blew the tires off and had actually went down on power ☹️
Southern Maryland is a little far for you but I would come to watch you race if you came! They have some pretty good events and a pretty good Mopar show and race at the end of October. There can be some excellent DA at that time.

@Hpindy this weekend at Napierville would be a good place. they are having a test and tune on Friday for the grudge wars cars and pro mods.
Plus they are racing on Saturday.
On events like that Nick puts extra effort on prep.
With your new suspension mods you should have no issues.
Well besides the ft DA we are likely to see here this weekend.
Napierville has been compared to Capitol in Maryland by the Americans that run in those classes.

I was just wondering what else was out there for good traction . I'm patiently waiting for the border to open and then I plan on going on a road trip and possibly hitting a track or 2 in the USA.
I already know the effort the guys at Naperville put in and never questioned it . It is my favorite track remember.

They announced on the news this morning they were extending the closure for at least another month . It could be longer . I got places to go and people to see down there .

House of Hook (Carolina Dragway) is no joke. They call it house of broke as well, because when people bring half ass cars/trucks...snapping axles, rear diff. and driveshafts.
Here is my list from top to bottom:
1/4 Mile:
South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP) - just a professional track and pits and tech..no track compares and might go 1/2 mile roll racing
Montgomery - prep is great for events and pits are really good but not up to SGMP standards
House of Hook - Outstanding prep but you need a cage when running < 9's..that is why they are lower on my list lol
Alabama International - prep is good but that right lane shutdown is crazy, but they race from 9pm until 2am...great DA
1/8 Mile:
Brainerd Motorsports Park - for great prep and events
1.10 60' from a x275 car in 40c soup air. So about 102f. It was so hot my car dialed in .3 slower than the week before.
Canada's house of hook. Just sayin.👍
