Not too shabby with a stock motor geeeeez...... On stock exhaust. Wonder what the limits of the stock trans are gonna be? Did they beef up the trans as well? What a hellova a car smh. Speedy u seeing this lol

You notice NEVER showed the numbers. Said 120-140 pick up. Than says 1275. He’s talking flywheel power. At 200kpa. So if it made 916. Add 140. 1056 wheel

When he tunes a trans to eat it self on purpose to sell a sipple trans that’s a problem. He has done it over and over my car included

Would have love to see the dyno but I guess we'll find out sooner or later just how strong Dodge's reinforcements on the engine are. Would be insane if the block can take 2,000hp

Hellion's proven 64/66R turbochargers support as much as 1,700 horsepower, but with a factory engine and drivetrain still intact, Urist decided 1,275 horsepower was a safe stopping point for the moment.


That comparison was informative, but the beauty of the Hellion kit is the incorporation of a TurboSmart boost controller. Adding or subtracting boost is just the push of a button away. By adding just six more pounds of boost than the factory supercharger delivers, the Go Mango monster belted out a whopping 1,275 horsepower and 1,204 lb-ft of torque. Since the engine and drivetrain are stock, Urist decided that was a safe place to stop—for now.

With a stout baseline of 932 horsepower at the rear wheels, the Demon 170 responded to Hellion twin turbochargers by rocking the rollers at The Dyno Edge to the tune of 1,275 horsepower and 1,204 lb-ft of torque, with just six additional pounds of boost beyond what the factory blower delivers—and that's through the remainder of the factory exhaust system.

"A lot of people might be concerned about aggressive changes on a rare car like this," Urist added. "Fear not—the Hellion system is a 100-percent bolt-on. Nothing is changed that cannot be put back. It is the best of both worlds."


Next up, the car is headed to Barth Tuning for more calibration work in preparation for its first turbocharged trip down the dragstrip. There, it will also receive a high-stall torque converter from Pro Torque to maximize the boost on launch. With factory Demon 170s already dipping into the 8-second zone with just over 900 horsepower at the wheels, what can a twin-turbo version accomplish with more than 1,300 horsepower? We shall soon find out.

I dont think so bro.... TT's make 1275 whp easily. I find it hard to believe the 170 has a stock HP90 tho. Can anyone confirm if the trans is stock cause 1275 whp is gonna require a trans upgrade I would assume.

It’s not 1275 wheel. It’s - estimated 1275 fly wheel.
They made 916 stock. Says they picked up 120-140 BUT NEVER SHOWED NUMBERS OF INCREASE. So 916 plus 140 is 1056 wheel. Add 20% that’s how they get the 1275. Take away the 3.0 blower and that’s what it takes to run the blower at same boost level

Yes we will find out. I will have twin air to water coolers and 28-30 psi we will find out what 6466 do.
