Happy Hemi Day everyone! Neither of mine are a 426 (and marketing aside, technically really aren't Hemis anyway...) but they're both fun in their own way. Sadly the Daytona will be gone soon, so I guess I better get out there and make some noise while I still can!

Lease is up and they want too much for buyout. In the meantime, I'll drive the truck and keep an eye on used HC prices or maybe a WB SP Charger in a year or so.

How much is your buyout? Mine is $28.3. My lease on my Daytona is up this summer also. My plan is to get a Hellcat so mine will be gone also

Modern Hemi’s are indeed Hemi’s because of the heads. No doubt in my mind that my Hellcat is a Hemi car! Here’s a photo of the 65 race Hemi I had in my A12 Road Runner from 1983-1989. Now that was a Hemi!

Not a stretch really. It’s not a perfect hemispherical combustion chamber but definitely not a wedge. I would call it a Hemi when the spark plugs are in the top of the combustion chamber and in between the intake and exhaust valve. The combustion chamber is just a hybrid of the Hemi.

Hemispherical is a closed chamber like a hemispherical casket. Air locked. I used to sell hemispherical chillers. Kinda like the chiller produced installed in the autos. Some how, yes me, the Hickster spread the idea over the net and the dude from Australia kind took the idea and ran with it. That's fine,, I got enough money to die with. Nope. At least El Ri Cola knows the truth isims.
