Thanks...but as we all know Black is a b*i*ch to keep clean. And right not I daily drive my RE. So at the end of the month before NFZ...it is going to be wrapped in a color that is easier to manage.
The official name of the color I am going with is Satin White Aluminum. It comes off more as a satin silver and I think will make my wheels, rear wing and RE fender emblems pop more. Plus with this color I can clean the car on Sunday and on Monday it will not look like I "have not" cleaned it in a month...LMAO

Plus it will be added protection. However, I will probably use some painters tape at NFZ because I have heard that the WB can sling rocks.

Wow!!! Can’t wait to see that. Just FYI.... you can get painters tape in white on Amazon. The end result doesn’t look so bad.

Oh!!! And something I forgot to mention.... there is a huge event the following weekend in Phoenix. (Fridaynight/Saturday). It’s called Street Car Takeover. I have not been to that yet but will be staying over to participate this time. Besides the street activities, it moves to the track (Wild Horse Pass) on Saturday night and I understand that there will be both dig and roll racing on the quarter mile past midnight. The track is the old NHRA facility that used to be called Firebird Raceway. It has been renamed and now has a huge Indian Casino/Hotel right next to it. Looks like a nice place to stay. I’m going to guess that there may be some smack going around that ends up taking it to the track on Saturday night. 💪

Dude...I just saw this post...thanks for the heads up. The meet Friday night is right around the corner from my house and now I guess I will get a chance to baseline my Redeye in the 1/4 mile. Thanks for posting this

Do it man...it is a friggin blast. yeah you come across on the 347 and 238 I think? Never been that way but heard about it. I am in North Scottsdale so I take the loop aorund to I-10 and then take the 85 south right to the airport.

I will be at the whp event for street night take over. If I hook it will be one and done. But I will then watch all of you run. My engine though shut down on 2 of 4 runs on the big end in Tucson. On one run I did not lift as she was spinning to 80 yet going. That managed a 10.1 at 140.1 at 6500 feet DA. I ordered front runners and the weight transfer should help. I may give Curt a call at injected engineering and make the switch to hp tuners. Desertcat signing out.

Be VERY careful with your car/trailer. Wild horse pass casino is a nice place, but thieves know that lots of amateur/pro racers stay there. It's also on the reservation so thieves are very brave (slap on the wrist from the tribal justice for everything including murder).

If I scared you enough, I'm only about 30 mins away in Gilbert and you can park your trailer/car in my driveway and I can box it in with my truck. I also have several cameras recording my driveway and street.

I have stayed at the casino and the resort. I am older and prefer the resort. But it is more money. My wife and kids would then take the boat ride to the western town to have dinner, go to the petting zoo, and browse the small stores there.

Hey thanks for the offer! I’ll put that in my data bank. I have a sorta base of operations at a motel in Phoenix off I-17. That is in the direction of going home after so I’ll probably use that. They have good trailer parking.
