Thought I would start a build page for the car I will be driving next year for AndersonRacing. It started life as a 2015 Challenger Hellcat and is being transformed into a full tube chassis car similar to GrumpyCat. It will have the factory steel quarters, roof, a-pilars and vin plate. It will be powered by a 540ci Hemi TFX with twin 98mm turbos, dual atomizer injectors and fuel-tech electronics. Car is currently at the chassis shop on the table to have all the chassis/cage work done. We will run 16x16 rear RC Compoments with a 35x17-16 rear tire. As soon as I can get by the chassis shop I will get some pictures of the car and get those posted.

I like Carl Rossler I spoke to him a couple of times years ago. My husband had bought a TH210 for a Twin Turbo we were having built.

He also bought a Neil Chance Bolt together Converter for a Race car he was having built for me.

That's Awesome! 2 great Parts!

Linda :)

The turbos got me curious. Why do they have a pair of bolts across their intakes? Never saw that before.
Precision started adding the cross-bolt safety provision on the discharge size in the competition diesel truck and tractor-pulling world, where the engines see ungodly levels of boost on the order of 100-plus PSI. This will be my first turbo build so some of it I am just learning about it now also.

What are you doing for a harness. One of the limiting factors of the ft600 for us home gamers is lack of a harness for OEM like applications. You pretty much share nothing with OEM at this point but wanted to see what you were doing in that area of the engine build.

There will be no oem wiring in this car, it will be a full custom built harness with a FuelTech ecu.

Currently I don’t think anyone has found a way to marry any aftermarket ecu’s with the dodge stuff and make it work because of the tcm (maybe on a manual). I know if you go to a TH400/PG etc it can be done where you still have all the bcm controls and the aftermarket ecu is only running the engine.

@otto - it looks like the charge side, but it isn’t, those are fancy turbine housings. Those cross bolts are to keep the turbine contained within the housing in the event that the center section lets go. Most of the diesel stuff isn’t twins, it’s compound so a turbine could go into the downstream turbo or into the crowd at an event.

Went up to Larry Jeffers Race Cars this past monday and picked up some more parts so we can keep the chassis guy moving forward. In the crate is a one-piece front end, doors, trunk lid, dash, rear bumper and a hood all parts are built by Glasstek. Also picked up a Mark Williams modular pro-mod rear end, rear-end has less than 10 passes on it and was complete minus the rear gear. Kenny Laughlin(Alex Laughlin's dad) made us a smoking deal on it and we could not pass it up.
