Decided on a replacement for Go Man Go

I'll get a pic of the ethanol sensor. First thing I looked for lol. It's on the passenger side fuel rail and is built in to the rail itself like a bung. The tank line connects to it with a metal clip and lock. Totally different from my Hellcat which just had a plastic push connector with a red safety clip.

There's a small sensor in the bung with a pig tail harness that goes "somewhere". I can't see back behind the blower to tell.

One thing I'm not wild about is it comes with the MT ET R DR on it. I wish they'd sold them with a street setup and had an option to get the drag setup separately.

What this means is now I need to go spend money on new wheels and tires so I can drive it around. I have one pair of my original Hellcat Brass Monkey Slingshot wheels in 20x9.5 with the factory Pirelli all season on them. I assume these will fit up front but will have to test. If I could find some Widebody Slingshots in 20x11 in Brass Monkey I could get some 315/35R20 Nitto 555RII tires and give a little throw back to Go Man Go.



Or try to match the 170 factory wheels a little closer and get 20x9 front and 20x11 rear Hellcat 2 wheels from Discount Tire. Have the Pirellis I have unmounted/remounted and get the 315/35R20 555RII for the rear.

FYI - I have the Voxx 20x11 w Continental 315/35R20 in WB fitment.
You are welcome to borrow a couple of them to see if you like the look
before I sell them.

555r2s are not very good in the rain over a drizzle. I've experienced it a few times and it can get hairy.

I've run the 555RII DRs for 5 years so I'm very familiar with that tire. I don't intentionally drive in the rain, but have gotten caught a time or two driving home from an event and they did fine for me.

I really like the way they look on the SS. In pics it looks to me like the 170 sits a bit higher in the rear? If so then I wonder how they'd look with the more space around them.

WOW! Sometimes good things really do happen to good people! I think we all felt your pain when GMG was stolen, and equally, we all feel your joy for this unexpected result! Some might say this is like hitting the lottery, but is is nothing like that. As your resident security expert the RFHUB lockout will prevent new keyfobs from being present but it will not prevent replay attacks and RF bags are hit or miss unless they are certified. I highly highly highly recommend an IGLA. Congrats, drive the hell out of it and sorry you had to go through this to begin with!

Ironically I was looking at a 170 last week on FB same color but with full black hood roof deck lid, Carbon wheels. Just couldn’t stomach or afford the crazy ADM. If it was something reasonable I would have pulled the trigger on the spot, keep it for life and rack up the miles with smiles. Congrats speedy you deserve it for representing the brand and promoting it for a long time. Glad that a bad situation turned good For you.
